  1. The only problem with that idea would be that youwould probably get a new one exactly like it with the next ship you get.
  2. Actually its 210k for the rank 2 speeder skill so you can use the 10% faster speeder, on top of that comes 25k for the speeder itself for a total of 235k just to get 10% more speed. Not everyone is able to make large amounts of money in a short amount of time. There are actually players that do have a difficult time making money for various reasons.
  3. I have to agree with this. The difference in speed between my run speed boos and my speeder feels insignificant. The difference may be greater than it seems, but to me it dont feel as if I'm moving much faster than when I'm running on foot. And the cost of the additional speed is horrendous compared to the increase in speed you get. 210k and 330k just to be able to fly at 10% higher speeds? Why in the world do I need to buy a higher rank "license" for speeder use anyway? To me that that would be the same as me having to get a "better" drivers license if I want to drive a Ferrari over a BMW. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in wow you did not need a better riding skill just to use a better mount did you? The whole system is flawed if you ask me.
  4. I dont have the words to express just how annoying this has been to me. Sometimes I almost feel like I want to throw my computer out the window just over this. I honestly dont understand how anyone can create anything so beyond belief stupid. The design in and of itself is broken, hell even the idea itself should never have existed as anything other than something that should be avoided at any and all costs. The way it should work is simple. Items should just appear in your inventory with a notification in the chat, perhaps the companion saying they completed their task, and nothing else. I dont see the need for a whole damn quest completion window that overrides everything to the exclusion of all else, its unnecessary and broken by design. If the devs had spent as much time and effort on everything in the game as they have on the movies and voice overs, I would not have been surprised to see this game still breaking sales records. Instead you got a massive bug-fest as if the game was still in beta testing, and players leaving in frustration because they cant play and dont get the help they expect.
  5. So in other words we are being punished for letting a mob get in a DOT on us right before killing it, and double punished if we die right after putting a dot on them (death penalty/repairs and DOT removal).
  6. I found this very frustrating too. Imagine a mob puts a dot on you just before you kill it, and you only got a few points of Health left. The DOT keeps ticking and kills you as you have no way of healing yourself, before it wears off since your medpacks are on CD. Another thing I never quite understood is the mechanics of DOTs. If I fight a mob, and I put a DOT on said mob, if I am killed that dot is INSTANTLY removed regardless of how much is left of the timer. There could be 1 second or 30 second yet its removed from the mob the second you die. On the other hand if a mob puts a DOT on you and you kill this mob, the DOT they put on you persists until the timer runs out, it does not get removed. Why is it so different? The way I see it, the DOTs, should persists until the timer ends regardless of whether the mob or player is dead, or they should disappear once the one who put it there dies.
  7. I get this error too, and not only on cybertech, but on the crafts of my other chars as well. Why am I left with the impression the fore each bug they fix, the create 2 new?
  8. Sounds like a sound idea to me. This should give BW a better perspective on what most of the players likes and/or dislikes. It would also give many players an incentive to tell what they think of the game without the fear of having their opinion flamed to death by the "fanboys" and/or "haters" of the game, which seems intent of doing whatever it takes to shoot down any and all opinions that dont match their own personal agenda. +1 for this one.
  9. I hated all the addon hassle in Wow, it totally ruined the fun for me in the end. To begin with I could choose whether to use them or not, and since I could play the game fine without them, didnt use them. But when the whole game ended up being created around the use of these addons, I was forced to use something I despised using and everything just became about the numbers and not the skill anymore. By asking for them to be "mandatory" you are actually trying to force something on to others that many do not want. If you want something in the game, youre welcome to suggest it and ask for it being implemented, just dont try to force it on to others who do not want it like the OP is doing here. Seeing as many guilds in this game and been able to complete endgame content just fine without these things so far, it should be perfectly clear that there is absolutely no need for these things.
  10. I must admit I'm surprised as well about this. This is not the first time its through up, but its the first time I can remember so many being opposed to this little thing here. I honestly dont understand why people are so against it all of a sudden.
  11. You are completely mission the point here. The OP is not asking for the ability to attack while running away, just to be able to LOOK around while moving. This is something that has been in every single MMO to date, so why not in this game? This is one of those small gripes thats been really annoying me ever since beta.
  12. I dont understand what your problem is. From your post I read that you are not going to continue paying. If you are not going to subscribe to continue playing, why do you want time refunded for downtime? Either you pay to play or you stop playing, its that simple.
  13. I have been wondering the very same thing. Why do they waste time and resources on changing things that are working fine and nobody has a problem with instead of fixing the things that needs to be fixed?
  14. Been looking at GW2 lately and that honestly sounds like a true MMORPG, with its dynamic works AND storytelling. Not like TOR which is a static world with storytelling.
  15. Previously I could tell when skill was off CD, now I often try to use a skill a few seconds before its ready not knowing its not ready. It has made me lose a couple tough fights because when the skill dot work I try to use it again and get distracted when it then still dont work as I see that its not ready and as such dont understand why it will not work. What I dont understand is why the changed it at all, as far as I know it was not broken in any way so why change it? And I cant remember ever seeing anyone ever complaining about it being bad design. Why do they waste time and resources on changing things that are working fine and nobody has a problem with instead of fixing the things that needs to be fixed? Please BW revert the skill bars to what they were in 1.0, they were much better that way and it was actually possible to see when a skill was off CD. A question to the community. Do you think it would help if we all bug report this, and request it be reverted to how it was in 1.0?
