  1. Sorry Dropfall, maybe I didn't make myself clear, but I have the 69 bonus armors, but at this time no 72 bonus armors, just 72 armors without the bonus.
  2. Just trying to figure out what would produce more dps for a PVE Merc. I have the 69 armors for the 4-peice bonus but no 72's with a bonus, although I do have 72 armors with no bonus I could use. Having trouble deciding if the 8% increase to rail shot would be better than the extra aim from upgrading a couple of the 69 bonus armors to 72 non-bonus armors which would increase the damage to everything. Thoughts?
  3. I agree 100%. I feel like a loner playing on the opposite faction, and would love to see who is on the other side. I'd also like to see our friends list get saved by server, and not by character. We are really expected to manually invite the same friends to eight different characters?
  4. I agree whole heatedly. I play a variety of alts, and unless my friend is also in my guild it's hard to keep track of who's online. Also, even if I can't send them a whisper, I would love to see what opposite faction friends are online as well so I know if anyone is playing on the republic side that I know!
  5. I LOVE the UI customization! Especially how I can set my ui and load the same thing for my atls. Here is what I personally would most like to see out of the UI: 1: Save chat settings as well. I currently use two chat windows, one for general and trade, and one for party/ops/guild. I would like to load how I have my chat boxes set up for my alts as well. (I should also note that there seems to be a bug that doesn't allow me to link items in my second separated window, I have to manually click on the default window to make sure items get linked) 2: Save key bindings. While loading my UI of choice for my alts is awesome, I still have to go through and set all my key bindings for my quickbars. 3: Make debuffs more clearly visible, preferably separated from buffs. One better, make the debuffes my current class can cleanse easily identifiable. 4: Give option to fade out quests while in combat. While it is nice to have my current quests displayed on my ui, the list can get long and take up lots of space. I find it distracting during combat, especially ops, to have them taking all that space. I realize I can manually minimize the quests, but generally I like them to be displayed, but just don't want to look at them when I am in actual combat. 5: More minimalist options. I love how on the quickbars that you can hide the outer graphics, I would like to be able to hide the extra 'frill' borders on all UI elements such as the minimap and windows that open like inventory etc. That's all that comes to mind for now! I'll add more if anything comes to me!
  6. First off I will admit I hadn't read every single response to this thread, but did read the developer responses. I agree that the end game gear should have a degree of uniqueness that separates it from the rest, but feel some features are overly exaggerated making the end result look silly to people. For instance, the mercenary rakkata helm: the blade on top could look cool if it was shorter, but instead it is crazy tall like a shark fin. Another example would be the rakkata Juggernaut boots, which might look cool with smaller spikes in the front, instead they are crazy long making it look like they have really long toenails or something! Overall the new 1.2 sets look pretty good (better than previous raid gear imo), but there are some things that I feel where made too 'big' as well, such as the sorcerer pve set with the huge ornate things sticking out...if made smaller I feel it would still look unique but not make people scream about these huge things sticking from their armor. Basically go unique, just don't go overboard. I do like the direction the game is going, allowing for removing mods from raid gear to put in other orange gear which should alleviate some of the complaints about the look of the high end gear. I know many people are screaming for simple robes for their force users, but as it stands even the low level robes are not particularly plain like in the movies. Maybe a low level orange set can be added that is simple with very little texture?
  7. I like the animation of tracer missile, but not for an ability I use over and over again. To me the change makes sense.
  8. My merc is max light side. I originally planned to stay neutral, but you had to pick a side to get the light/dark gear, also I rolled with Mako most of the time so light side worked out better to gain affection with her.
  9. I play an arsenal mercenary as my main, and I have to agree with the above posts. Many people think all mercs do is spam tracer missiles, but you do have to rotate in other attacks to optimize damage/heat. Really it comes down to your playstyle. I mained a mage in WoW and this seemed like a good fit for me. A friend of mine prefers to more be in the thick of things so he rolled a powertech...to each their own really. You may also want to keep in mind their utilities, for instance mercs have healing abilities, and powertechs have grapple and have the option of tanking.
  10. I'd like to see this too. I wouldn't expect it to be free, but I would be willing to pay a sum of credits to do it. I would consider a one time real money fee as long as it was reasonable.
  11. I wasn't aware of this thanks.
  12. I know it won't happen, but I'd like to actually play a droid.
  13. Not a terrible idea, but I think people would get annoyed if they where at the end of their duologue and had it go longer because someone else clicked on it, and perhaps even longer because yet someone else clicked on it. Maybe if two players clicked about the same time then make it like when you are in a group.
