yes that is all I think most of us would like is our email telling us when, why is that part such a secret? That I don't get... If it was me I would rather everyone who preordered got their start date the day they preordered or within one week. But if they feel they must keep that secret up to the last moment I guess I have no choice but to complain a bit about that and go check my email...again...

Personally I think the launch of EA today is a complete success, and judging by how full the servers are there would be no queue's to speak of, a perfect controlled launch if you ask me. The only thing I wish they would do is email everyone their early access time so that we know when we get to start and we don't have to sit here wondering if we will get in early. Other then that I think it is all a complete success! Edit: And no I am not in yet, I dont even have my email to tell me when I am in yet....

It does not really matter what you all say, this is the launch of Star Wars the Old Republic MMO, but instead of a free for all where the lucky ones get to log on and enjoy the game, Bioware is rolling out the game slowly to a known amount of players. Seems like a totally logical way to do it to me and it looks to me like the first day was a real success. The only thing that I would even mention is that I think Bioware should send out ALL the emails as to when your early access begins so that people are not left wondering. That is the only thing I can see that they might have handled differently, because I know that if could write my time down and then wait for it, things would not seem so confused as they are now...just sayin'...

I got into full time beta after the 11-11 weekend beta test and one day when the servers were down I think it was like late Nov or early Dec, I went to Origin and preordered and I am not in yet either and if I get in 5 or 10 minutes early I will be happy! Just wish they would send me in "getting in date" so I know thats all...

I dont understand why people think that the stress test has any bearing on what is taking place today other then the fact that the stress test allowed them to figure out server caps, etc. With most of the servers full or near full today I would say the first day of early access is a huge success...

For all intents a purpose this is the launch, however it is a controlled roll out of players who get access up until the 20th. I am part of this early access but I still do not even have my access date so all I can say is...be patient my young blah...blah...blah:eek:

It is pretty much pointless to make these posts because trust me they have all been posted already today....

At least that way we would all know when our date was and we would not be here on these forums sitting on the edge of our seats hoping that something or someone will announce the proverbial "holy grail" of info so we do all know... All I want is to know when thats it even if I only get in 5 minutes early at least then I know....and I don't waste my time sitting here wondering... Just a thought...

If I was in game I would be playing and not surfing these slow conjested forums...hehe

I almost made it to a last name in beta I got to level 32...dang that would have been nice to see how it worked.

The thing is though if you go and check the Server Status list http://www.swtor.com/server-status you will see that the early access has gone quite well and most likely completely according to Bioware's plan. As you can see most servers have a "High" to "Medium" amount of players and some of those may be low because of folks who have early access today but are still at work.... Looks like a smashing success to me!

I am pretty sure this "early access" and not "launch" is going completely as planned, they have almost all of the servers they had up full and those people are not on the forums posting because they are playing... This sounds like a first day success to me!

I think we are all in the same boat and all we can do is stay afloat and wait patiently until they let us dock....so to speak

Yeah, not really worried about my early access seeing as I ordered so late anyway, all I really wanted was confirmation that I had the game and could get in sometime before the 20th, and really all I want is my email saying when that will be. Once I have that I can wait patiently for it to come and not sit here anticipating when...which is getting a wee bit tiresome and considering beta put me off all of my other games its a bit difficult to wait...oh well what can we do?

The last week of full beta the servers were down for a few days and I got nervous so that is when I preordered and realistically I was not expecting to get in today or even much more the a few minutes early... I just wanted the game ordered and ready to go so....then I check email one day and it says to uninstall the beta client so I did that thinking great any day now they will let us start to download the launch client. The day finally arrives where I get to download the new client and as soon as I start the launcher it asks me "What is your favorite activity?" I quickly reference the sheet I wrote it all down on and type in my answer and it says "incorrect" and asks me again and pretty soon my account is locked! So I go and reset my password like it says to when that happens and still the answer I have is somehow different to the answer they have... Then this morning I say to myself, I need to edit my answers to numbers so there can be no mistake what so ever, and finally I got in and was able to edit all of my answers to be long numbers for answers and since then I have not answered one wrong, though every single time I log in they ask one of the questions....sheesh!
