Or just turn in a new quest when it's done, the pending ones should pop aftwerwards, or simply, send one of your companions do some work like salvaging and again the pending ones should appear. Just make sure you have anough bag space:)

I think the game deserves a 7/10 overall Altough I do not agree with what most ppl are saying about another 3 months of development, because I find it BS, there have been countless beta's and they could have made changes, in fact I noticed very few major changes in the last 3 months. My only complain I have about the game is the quest system. very few quests, which start with mostly a long conversation and HUGE travel times, mission itself being finished very quickly. As in one of my previous posts it seems like they wanted to balance the long travel time (aka doing nothing) decresing the leveling speed time. Out of every quest 65 to 70% of it, it's travel time. Other than that I want to explore it more before I start complaining. I'm gonna give it a month and see how the community and devs wil respoind.

Well guess what mister genius there, before you say something do some research first. Yes addon's are player made but you can't do anything in a game unless the game developer has released the SDK which from what I read they didn't. As long as there isn't any SDK out the game interface will remain hardcoded.

Interesting fight again between WoW and SWTOR. You know what I play both games, what ppl forget to undestand why SWTOR has the upper hand in launch agains WoW, it's simple because most of you are living in 2011. Simply put, HARDWARE. It is common those days, or generally when somone liks thing 1 better than 2 to trash thing 1, catch my drift? 90% of you little cats here played WoW and enjoyed it. Everyone had it's fun time, for years and yes WoW it's dying and we're all burned out of it, but that it doesn't mean you have to trash it now, well of course the fact that you do, simply says enough, about how much respect you have for yourself spending years into something (those years are still yours...) However, When WoW came out it was a beast of an game, and speaking in server language, it was an pure killer. They couldn't simply implement base elements in the game because the servers were not fast enough to support 3k people, or better said, to handle what the game was even designed. Back in the day, (for those of you big mouthers <<WoW was bad>>), you even yourselves didn't had a pc powerful enough to run the game. Not even to speak about the server itself. I remember those days pretty well, core duo's were were too expensive to build, such processor was (in today's money) about 550 euros, compared (again today's money) i5 2500k at 180 euros... and a total system would have costed above 2k euros instead of 1k you pay today. Back in the day the software was too demanding for the hardware.... Nowdays, it's completelly otherwise. The hardware it's way too fast (generally speaking) for the software released. Most of you are running quad cores with videocards that can pull the games released today, much easier, than you could with the 6 years games with the same 6 years old hardware. The point it, I'm not supporting WoW either, altough I play WoW and SWTOR, but I hate to see how ppl are making judgements without any knowledge and speak only from their own perspective ignoring the the real facts. Simply put, consider this: --WoW, 6 years ago, latest bad-*** mmo in the world running on (at that time) servers that were dual processed in-line connected hardware. --SWTOR, 2011 that proly runs on multiple hexacore xeon's server configuration...need I say more?

Oh boy, I love the game but the questing there it was the worst *********** nightmare. One thing I noticed about the game. Despite the fact that your might hit 50 quite soon which I don't like (I originally expected about 2 weeks for it), I found out something annoying with the game. There are way, I mean extremly too few quests and that is balanced by very little action with much talk and very long runs. On tatooine for example, thanx to the lore, you accept a quest (just one of the FEW of those kind) where the lore spoken on the quest takes, yes write this down about 1 minute and 22 seconds!!! O.o Now that has upset me somehow, because I understand the fact that they created a very short quest chain and counte-balanced it with doing nothing for a long time, but I don't know I started to have questing there. I want to play, not strare at my screen looking at a very big dialog or sit on my bike for 70% of my bike instead of doing stuff... So basically you take 2-3 quests from a location with lore included you're 2 minutes just doing nothing (even hitting space to skip them so often gets annoying), but they are spread all over the *********** map. So then action time me thinks... off to the quest and when I arrive... after 3 minutes of biking doing nothing it's done in 20 seconds again. But wait... NO, you have to *********** drive for another 3 minutes to the other quest, which is mainly the opposide those other 2 you have and finish it in less than 10 secons, ok some takes 1-2 minutes but the point is, you're more busy traveling than questing... Now I played wow and leveled 8 characters to 85, they could have simply followed the same rule, "keep the ppl busy" it;s as simple as that Spam you with quests, lots of quests action close, return and move on to the next quest pack. And no, I don't mean to say WoW it's the mother of games, I played it, I played Eve Online, Aion and Age of Conan. I'm just making a comparation of how the pattern should be:S At the end of Tatooine map, I had one quest where I should have scanned for someone, 5 *********** times just to return to the same guy that gave me the quest and timed it. This was a 4 step quest and total run time took me 17 minutes and 33 seconds of biking... and action time+competeing the quests no more than 4 minutes and 11 seconds. I am fearing the worse for Alderaan following up and the rest of the planets.

Now where is the bug thread? Didn't find it... So anyway the TL;DR version. There are some situations where the quest directions stop, they just dissapear. The story, goes like, me questing on Tatooine and at some point I needed to complete a quest with "dust" or something (can't remember, this was last night) and pointed out to the Shattered something part of the area map. Upon entering the cave I am told to speak to some guy in there blah blah which I do and that I have to kill someone in the same cave. As I usually do before leaving an area, I always check the map to see what needs to be done. In this case, the yellow triangle filled with green, aka. mission objective, wasn't there. After looking for 5 minutes or so, and being quite pissed about Tatooine quest design, decided to quick travel and take it from there. To my suprise, the quest pointed me back to the exact same area. Now I know some of you may disagree, but this is the third time happening to me. Also, I did had quite a few times a quest in my log, which pointed in one direction ie. different part of the map and upon enter it gone it was. And no, it doesn't work as intended as relogging, (yay another 30 min que) fixes the shizzle. It's quite annoying to be honest.

The only ones to blame here are BW itself. Not releasing the game in 1 day they only made it worse. It is normal for ppl to pick the servers that are populated instead of the empty ones. No one wants to join an empty server. If I am to speak about the administration of the servers there has been pretty poor. They should have locked all the servers to standard while most of them had become equally filled, then increase the slot numbers. I've seen live streams and heard from friends that are actually playing, especially on the EU side that the severlist was heavely divided by heavy to light servers. It is simply a server management failure.

Gonna enjoy it to fullest tomorrow... Back from work, and then game time...imagine, friday with a full weekend ahead. Undisturbed....

There is no process... They have some mod software in which they select 2 dates and an number.Tthe algorithm of that software picks ppl from that specific selection. Or close, the invites there are not man made, otherwise they will have to select a few thousands of ppl each hour. Everything is automated. Some ppl are denying what I've told them so I'll say it again. -Welcome to Star Wars: The Old Republic lottery!!

xD same here, 12/12. Same thoughts as you. I do not expect to get in earlier than 19th or so. Altough I'd very much want to play, I can understand the ppl being p****d tho, imagine those that pre-ordered in july-august and didn't got in, yet there are ppl from september there at this very moment, playing, so they were just being skipped. It's kinda a slap in the face lol. The main issue with those that pre-ordered early...they never really accepted the fact that they're getting into a lottery. This is the only reason I didn't bought the game from the start. Better now and wait in peace till the end or EGA, rather than hoping for nothing as 80% of those frustrated guys.

Idd, I have entered my preordered key, even recaived the email that confirms it. But what I mean...it looks like the message on the account is refering to the full game key, which I doubt ppl that preordered outside Origin have it. I even went to a shop that isn't listed here on the website and they had pre-order boxes, but not the full game (with the key).

Payed 4.99 for the pre order code and 54.99 euros for the game, WHICH I didn't get because the game of course comes out on the 20th, NEITHER a game cd-key, because as well the key comes with the gmae itself, go figure. In order to be granted game access and confirm which edition of the game you own, you need to redeem this code." Now my question is: Why do they pre order making you pay without giving out any keys trough their legit stores and then hit you in the face after you pay 5 euros?
