If you're in the EU, the server The Red Eclipse seems to be the busiest on the PvE front currently. I've rolled a toon on the Republic side there and the population of the places i've been too seems pretty healthy across the board. Personally I'm hoping the upcoming server transfers bring some people back to Frostclaw - what was the busiest server at launch leading to lots of people rerolling elsewhere because of queues in the first couple of weeks.

Whilst I do look forward to some form of merging/transfers etc to increase populations etc. I do have to wonder, are the people demanding a server merge "now" the same ones demanding more servers be opened up at launch due to queues etc? ...just sayin!

Apologies if I'm being thick, but, why do the overall subscriber numbers affect whether or not one feels they should be resubscribing? I enjoy the game and so long as I continue to enjoy the game I will resubscribe. If I feel that the server I am on is too quiet, I'll roll on a different server - though this is unlikely as I'm in a guild of people that I've been gaming with for several years. Enough of the doomsaying! Enjoy the game? Then play it!

Background sounds is coming in 1.2 if I've read the test server patch notes correct..it's a feature I too seriously miss!

The issue with this (and it's been seen on panda mmo's) is that when new content is released, everyone on the servers getting the later patch QQs because it's seen as the US being favoured and getting an unfair advantage towards world firsts etc. However it's done, someone's gonna QQ!

My sentiments exactly. I've been lucky thus far with regards to crashing, only had 1 crash and that was really early in the morning before the queues started! I'm sure things will settle down post launch. Although queues can be a pain at least the login servers don't fall over like a certain other MMO .
