  1. Please ctrl+f for "undefined" on the 2.1 patch notes. http://www.swtor.com/patchnotes Tldr, yes. And it's live.
  2. What has been frustrating in Vs testing is that the days of having the *chance* of stun locking a group of people coming out from the door after wiping a group and capping the node are gone. This is the only spot where I feel that pvp will be impacted negatively in terms of not maintaining the status quo.... But these situations can still be overcome.
  3. Gearing with partisan helps by leaps and bounds over pve gear.

    PvP Gear Usefull?

Bolster helps you to compete against seasoned players while you're just starting. @55....Over time, as you gear up with pvp gear, the expertise buff will compliment the expertise gained by gear until your expertise is capped via pvp gear (currently @ 2018) so as to bring you to a point where your pvp gear gives you better stats and expertise than that of a player that is going through the gearing process you just completed. @ the lower levels, some would argue that you're best advised to keep the best non pvp (pve) gear you have and let bolster do the expertise work. The idea here seems sound because you will eventually phase whatever lower level PvP gear there is out (available on DK) with your >20 and >40 pve gear, not to mention the 55 PvP gear mentioned above.
  5. I've considered this already earlier in the thread. As developers we know it's straight up impossible to take on what was done in 2.0 by itself regarding pvp and class balance and skill tree redesign. I'm offering.. With my objection to this 2+2=4 argument... That there is more to the story. And my source, like yours, is personal experience.
  6. With my #1 I was referring to Yodawizard.....who is saying that... And you quoted him... So yes, RC achieved by me, not sure if by you however. Again, twisting my words. Players will use stuck to reset cc break but will find after doing so that it is stupid because the negative impacts of doing so far outweigh the ability reset. RC failed by you again. If I'm so wrong why don't you explain why instead of continuing your personal attacks. Seems to me that there isn't sufficient enough information available to you to do so...... A classic logical fallacy. Incompetent forum warriors speak of mechanics they don't test themselves, they whine ***** and moan without the slightest bit of objectivity or consideration for players with opinions that oppose their own, and they post narrow minded out of context points that perpetuate a pattern of unobjective disingenuous feedback that removes attention from constructive feedback. For the record I am not an Ea or bw employee. I am simply a game developer.
  7. I work in game development and know for a fact that there is 0% chance that the PvP team is literally one person. Don't consider my evidence for this at all, please continue to focus on what you WANT to think. I stuck all the time in pugs not to mention rated. But it's stupid to think one would do this simply to reset a stun break ability. Take my post out of context more please.
  8. Objectivity has it's humble moments.... But I would like to add this to my own test cases... So I need to understand the steps.... My limited vision as a jugg has it's..... Limits?
  9. I have tested the cc break on death and I want someone else who has to step and offer up their opinion as well. I am also curious about battle rez as I have not considered that in my testing. Oh and surprise.... I like where bolster is at right now but do agree that the dumb augment exploit should have been dealt with before live.
  10. I am admittedly curious about how battle rez would change this situation.
  11. Lol, "using it over and over" is just not possible or productive use of time in a Rated. Voluntarily taking one's self out of the fight just to unlock the break is an overblown concept. The person is of better use soaking up heals or soaking up damage and dying so that the damage isn't more quickly refocused... Stucking when stunned after your break has been used is effectively killing your team faster and doesn't help you or your team, it helps the opposition plow through your team more quickly. If you're stucking to help yourself for that stupid purpose you should be off the team.... Not to mention the 2 minute cool down on stuck in the first place, which really renders this point moot. The only fact is that you haven't tested it to even come close to providing evidence for your accusations. Everything is hypothesis until tested.
  12. Lol this is fair, but I honestly am trying to stick to the subject line of the thread but have been baited into doing otherwise.
  13. I strongly believe that the repercussions are being overstated because my experience with this on PTS contradicts most of the end of skill based pvp claims people are claiming, and would absolutely LOVE to see your opinion after going on to PTS and actually testing it. The only piece I am concerned with are the speeder bikes on ACW but that effect has been hard to test since we can't choose the wz. I will challenge everyone here to consider your opinion of stun break being like this from day 1. Imo this is just a bunch of people thinking they know best when really their minds are inherently resistant to change. The best players who know better will adapt and l2p anyway. Test it, form your opinion objectively, express it, in that order. All I see in this subject and the development time for PvP issue (2.4 crying) is a bunch of knee jerk qqing. Since I happen to know what it takes to develop in a fast paced and highly critical environment... I know for a fact that these guys need some encouragement from somewhere.
