Just getting back into swtor after a long break and I have to say... this isn't encouraging. The level sync absolutely needs to be optional, this should be common sense. Combining all of the stats? Someday, it seems everyone will have max stats for their level regardless of gear. Just to keep things "simple". Companion gear now meaningless? Good idea if your intention was to alienate older players and make them feel like they wasted a large chunk of their lives. Part of the fun of the leveling/gearing process was also getting to improve companions. Another nudge in the "lets all have max stats all the time at every level" direction. Which by the way, is a terrible direction to go. Hoping this is just a lapse of judgement by the dev team or a test set of notes to see the community's reaction.

I like all of the features added.. (except for this worrysome, disclaimer-ridden combat log -- A WORRY FREE COMBAT LOG IS STANDARD IN AN MMO - IT'S NOT HARD, I JUST DON'T UNDESTAND GAHH--) Aside from my rage over their inability to make an easy to manage combat log, I truly can't comprehend how there is a 50 minute queue time on my only server.. not to mention all of the legacy perks are only available on your main's server. Not much incentive to play at all. I'm truly disappointed with how this is turning out, after waiting months for the "real release" (a game isn't finished until it has a combat log...*cough*)

Still waiting for an MMO to come out with a very straightforward PvP setting. Slaughter count warzone would be so good. First team to 50 kills wins. The beauty of the plan is it's simplicity, dude.

this game's community continues to baffle me. then again, so do the game features (or lack thereof rather)..

I still don't understand why an instance can't somehow "scan" the group and only drop items that are usable by those 4 classes. It's kind of a waste of time otherwise if you're only running the instance for loot.

This is where my guild is at right now. We cleared everything, we're fully geared - but the raids don't even work anymore. Not to mention there's only 2 of them. My guild went back to League of Legends.. because there is no point in playing SWToR at this time. At least for players like us who enjoy raiding more than any other aspect of an MMO.

Unfortunately my expectations were clearly too high. BioWare had held a high standard except for DA2 and I expected that same standard. Especially when they delayed release so that the game would be "polished". A game that's polished has a combat log. Enough said.

They should be paying us a tester's salary, because that's what we are. We aren't players or customers. We are fools paying them to play unfinished content. They then ignore us when we tell them it's broken. Where's my paycheck BioWare? I'm tired of working. I want to start enjoying.

In WoW, even with all the content finished and no more raid bosses to conquer -- you could at least roll out to a trivial instance and pump some numbers out of your COMBAT LOG or DPS parser. That was at least mildly entertaining.. Can't even do that here.

I hit 50 in the first month. We cleared all the raid-content (despite intolerable bugs) it's a laughable amount of content for how long this game has been in production. BW is fooling themselves if they think leveling is the main draw for the MMO crowd. My suggestion? Go play League of Legends or StarCraft 2, that's what swtor endgame really is.

I had a dream last night that I was a panda. I also dreamed that I was a panda in a raid that worked. It was very nice. I think I'll go do that when it's real. Why am I choosing pandas over lightsabers? Pandas actually work. Lightsabers have bugs clogging their crystals. FAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLL

Truly, the end-game raid content in this game is absolute trash. Seriously, I waited years and years for this game -- and all they have to offer is TWO VERY SMALL BUG-RIDDEN raids. 5 Bosses a piece. EV has 2 bosses that aren't bosses, they are 0 skill loot boxes, one of which bugs on a regular basis and locks you out of the raid entirely, halting your progress and wasting your time. How the *(^($% can they think this is acceptable? I know now all SWToR is about is voiceover and mediocre story-lines. That is supposed to make up for how trash the game really is. League of Legends is free, they support it constantly and ensure that the player-base STAYS INTERESTED. MMO's keep their player-base interested with END-GAME... NOT voiceovers and questlines. Absolute. Epic. Fail.

Combat logs are needed. EverQuest succeeded for years with 1 thing. It was a combat log, that was all you had. A combat log, and unless you were a bard - a handful of abilities to use. And a combat log. You looked at it, you saw numbers flying, it was good. Combat log. Combat log. Enough said. P.S. - give me more end-game content asap we already beat your game jeez

I can't believe BW hasn't even acknowledged this issue.. at least nowhere that I've looked. The fact that they shipped this without a combat log is madness. Absolute madness. Not only has my guild cleared the measly amount of end-game content - but we can't even have friendly DPS races or "push" each other to play better. Why not? Because we have absolutely no reference point. None. Zero. Just like my want to play this game. None. Zero. This after YEARS of anticipation. So disappointing.
