  1. I can tollerate the pvp shortcommings listed, but i find the 8 medal cap is the greatest demotivator.

  3. At launch i made a level 50 bh, was first 50 and first BM on my server. First to obtain full pvp set, combined pve 2 piece bonuse for tracer crit. For a week or so everything i touched died, i was a walking god and everyone was on farm status. A week or so later as the more casual gamers started gearing up and becomming competent, there was less ownage so i rerolled. Leveling from 1 to 50 in 4 days, and hitting rank 50 in 5 days. I still won 99% of games, playing smart > eq. Doesnt matter really because win/loss rewards arent that much different if you farm correctly. Yes, ilum is terribad. Trading will occur. Players will reroll for trading. Ilum will continue to fail until there is an objective worth holding. 50 Brackets will be a nightmare for que times, they're pretty bad as it is.
  4. Warzones are now 'farm mode' for my guild. Esp hutball. Score 4 times, then spend the next 10 minutes walking through fire and healing youself. Then stun an enemy, throw to him and kill him for defender points. All about the farm. A worthwhile reward to holding ilum is the key to pvp success. Not a valout bonus. Something that you get for holding all even if there is nobody else out there. Even a king of the hill merc com concept.
  5. Base ilum valour per kill is 10. With defender buff and 5 flips, you get 40 valour per kill. (tested via 1v1 @ l50) Que warzone for an extra 200 valour while holding x5 ilum buffs. 5% bonus. Ilum is for trading weeklies/dalies at the moment. Cap and leave, cap and leave.

  7. I solo'd to 50. On the rare occasion i died due to difficulty i decided to heal up before hand, pop a stim, have a med on hand and pay more attention. Just play smart
  8. Bolster works fine. RNG is rubbish. Rewards luck over earning. Ilum is cap and leave, no point holding objs. Killtrade for dailies. Outlaws den is fine.
  9. Guildie of mine is sitting over a million creds from slicing. I was broke 2 days ago from maxing cybertech and spamming underworld trading for mats. RE'd a blue l50 earpiece. Other crafters know how hard that is. Picked up slicing a little over 24 hours ago, Im now sitting on 400k.
  10. Same here, took like 20 hours of solid crafting and re-ing but i finally got a purp earpice. Was a junk one with shield + crit. So im repeating the process. FYI the stats are worse than corelia proto boxes. The Centurion/battlemaster gear > corelia drops. Really, crafting isnt worth it, esp cybertech. #1. Speeders are bound, cant sell them. #2. Earpieces get replaced #3. Level 50 ship upgrades are sic, but who does space missions at 50? nobody. #4: Droid parts. Crit the blues without too much trouble, what droid companions are worth it? All are ranged tanks. You want a melee dps/charge+root companion. Your class healer > ship droid. Even HK will be lackluster i think. #5 Mods and armoring are easily replaced by corelia eq/champ/cent eq. Their only function will be to.... ummm. No. never used it. Even when leveling. +++: Grenades. Require a rare crystal. Not from mission skill for level 50 consumables from vendor recipies. May be able to crit a blue to byass, havent tested. But an aoe stun is alwasy gonna rock. To answer your question. Its not bugged, just a really low chance. Really low. lower than previous levels and lower than other eq. Ditch cybertech after you have a grenade/speeder. pickup slicing, buy whatever you need.
  11. #1 Problem with IA is that NPCs use cover too, making pve leveling a pain. #2 Using cover takes up to 1 second, reducing your dps by up to 66%(may be redzone lag) Solution: Accept as ranged dps you die when focused, position youself to not get focused. As melee. gank with a marauder or bh, chain stun, burst and run. #1 Problem with SW Jugg is sticking to the target in PvP #2 Problem with Marauder and Jugg is lack of internal damage reducion. The following would ballance out SW classes: Faster resolve filling. (yes it works) +Defence should effect single target lightning (like Windu v Palpatine) Justification: Having 60% armor as a jug and a 20% defence roll means nothing when you're being hit with lightnings internal damage and rockets/missiles. Alternate solution: Remove all damage types aside from kenetic/weapon. Alternate solution: Include +internal resistance items PvE Solutions: None needed. All classes are exceptional pve. IA sniper less so, due to npcs using cover dojin your stuff
  12. Guys, i only do 3 warzone matches per day, i get a bag every day. 1 week from now i have 10 (dailies+weekly) champion prices from 10 bags. My friend who does 20 wz's a day, farms outlaws and buys 10 champ bags a day has 20 belts. I am a better player who earned mine. gg.

  14. Problem existed in beta, exists now. Im sure it will be fixed before launch
  15. Im shy 3 pieces for the champion set. I look at the champion set as a bonus, and the centurion tokens as what you 'earn' based on time played. I do have 3 belts tho, its pretty lame. Unsure if companions can equip it. In addition, battlemaster gear based on dailies :S 2-3 months from now we'll have infinite centurion tokens with nothing worth buying while we wait for dailies/weekly battlemaster gear. Yes its a horrible system but the ++bonus champ loot chance isnt the real problem
