  1. Fully agree with the OP's post. There is nothing more frustrating with TOR's combat then feeling like your character refuses to act when you want him to.
  2. Yeah, changing basic terms to more "Star Warsy" will totally justify his thread about one of the many problems in this game. Check mate OP.
  3. Thank you for such a rewarding and interesting post, and not at all useless or annoying sounding at all. Keep up the good work.
  4. The best was collecting hearts. Some days I wander out of the house forgetting my heart too!
  5. This. Right now, I can handle the other normal, beginning bugs. But if this doesn't get fixed soon, like, in the next month or two, I really doubt I'll be playing this game.
  6. Yeah, total realism right here. Let me just go get my saber made of light, my laser shooting gun, and wrist mounted rockets and we'll throw down. Seriously, let me use my camera how I want so I don't feel like an idiot who can't turn his head and run at the same time. How's that for realism?
  7. Yeah, it is total skill playing without macros. Oh wait. Its actually a very minor thing that affects preference more than gameplay. Addons are only able to be created based upon what Bioware lets them do, so arguing against players who use what Bioware would allow seems pretty dumb. Interesting.
  8. By your logic, everyone should have the same computer, mouse, keyboard, internet connection, and chair, so everyone has the same advantage. So... can I expect your check in the mail? Wouldn't want it to be unfair or anything!
  9. How do you not get that that is STILL not a good thing? "Oh, its okay that there are few other players in your instance, they are in the OTHER ones!" Yeah, GREAT reasoning.
  10. yeah, he obviously has no life as it takes soooo much time and effort to get to fifty! Oh wait, its an MMO. Are you always this grumpy when you haven't had your baby nap?
  11. YEAH! General forum isn't for things about the game! And it most certainly isn't for complaints and issues put/ignored that are in the game!
  12. I love how everybody who tries to defend this AWFUL change brings up fixes that are required of the user, as if people aren't paying monthly for Bioware "fix" things in their game that require no such thing.
  13. I'm not so sure about this. Especially in PvP, it never seems to work that way.
  14. I usually don't quote lots of things from a post, but for all that is good and just in the world, this. And it is not just Force Wave. It is nearly every single move. Blaster whip for Smuggler? Damage only happens after the character reaches back and then finally hits the person with the blaster. The generic Slash for Knights? Character waves his saber about for a second THEN does the hit. This is ridiculous and needs to be the top priority for fixes.
  15. Seriously, it was cute to start with, but the jokes old now. Why is there no option to turn off the auto-following camera? This greatly hinders PvP experience when it is impossible to have a detailed, quick look at whats going on around/behind your character, and even when just running around a planet it's impossible to look at the scenery because it feels like you have blinders on. Come on Bioware, it is the right thing to do.
  16. Shouldn't be an addon, just should have been in launch, I would rather vendor every purple drop I get then deal with the broken system they have now.
  17. Yeah! The game needs to be kept fair for everyone! Bioware should remove the option to change keys, so everyone has the same buttons, therefor creating an equal playing field! Makes sense.
  18. Whoa whoa whoa, easy there scooter, those are reasonable and completely non- game breaking ideas of working macros, this thread's going to get eaten alive. =O
  19. Well it is like this bro, I got in on day one of the early access, guild assigned all all the trimmings. Since that time, the server population has gone light to full, leading to massive ques. My friends and I, from early access, have multiple mid level characters and really don't want to move to another server. That, plus having to remake a guild (and get another name for it) makes it not worth starting over from scratch on a new server.
  20. I kinda wish server firsts were in as well... not because I try and go for them, but it helps me justify playing TOR when I should be doing school work =/
  21. This was an original concern (and ongoing) that I have had, but I was surprised at how often it was relatively balanced. I would like brackets of some such, but possibly like a level 50 bracket, but that would have its own problems as well.
  22. Oh boys, opinions to counter opinions! Happy days indeed!
  23. I disagree, haven't found a quest that was too hard. only ones that are challenging. As for the flashpoints, I've been two-manning them with a friend of mine and are companions up to the Mandalorian Raiders on the Republic side. Imo, hope it stays challenging.
