  1. What exactly are you trying to RE?
  2. Do you ever read other threads or maybe upcoming patch notes? You could even see some of these changes if you spent 5minutes looking at this forum or the PTR forum.
  3. Correct. What's there is supposed to be staying as is. They just aren't adding new and improved reusables when they add the new and improved schematics of other things. Afaik the only current bop skill required item that is changing is the cybertech vehicles, so that those will be able to be traded/sold.
  4. It's sad that the materials costs for a lot of the consumables is the same and sometimes more than the materials requirements for gear or implants (that don't have a brief lifespan/use). The medpacks are going to be more of a pain come 1.2 when the red goo becomes a grade 6 material.
  5. Actually I think it was more of a poor planning issue. Consider diplomacy missions. There are multiple medical supply missions. Or consider slicing or treasure hunting. TH has multiple materials missions as well. Slicing has multiple augment missions and in 1.2 multiple material missions. I think it was the rush before release to shuffle where metal and cloth was found and it wasn't implemented properly. We can only add to the suggestions that more be added or there is an easier way to rearrange the list so we can get what we need. The alternative is to toll several alts with UWT and continuously run metal missions, and that just doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me.
  6. When you figure it out, please let me know. I've got about 2k of those as well. I keep hanging onto them hoping that someday there will be schematics that need a lot of them and not so much mutagenic or radioactive paste.
  7. If you plan to do nothing but pvp, no plans to make orange critted armor or other items, then biochem is probably your best bet. You can make some reusables, but know that they ARE being phased out. Granted it will take a little time, not exactly sure how long, but they won't be as useful in the long term. In the short term, biochem would be very useful. Once the reusables are phased out, they won't be totally gone mind you, just less potent that the newer items available, you will still be able to farm mats and make your own consumables. Edit: Devs have already said that they won't be putting more reusables in the game.
  8. Do you read the forums at all? Or bother to look at patch notes? I think not. So I will inform you of a few basics points that are happening for crew skills in upcoming patch 1.2. New orange schematics are being added to the game. Those orange gears from said schematics can crit and have a chance of being created with an augment slot. So let me spell it out for you. In addition to the 3 slots available (Modification, Armor, Enhancement) there would also be an Augment slot on that piece of orange gear. Guess what? The Raid gear and PVP gear doesn't come with that augment slot. So here's the deal. That orange gear is better than the the Raid or PVP gear. Are you following now? Because it has that additional augment slot that you can put an augment in there by adding more stats to the gear than is available on the Raid/PVP gear. So here's what you do now, you remove your mods from your Raid/PVP gear and put it in your shiny new orange critted gear that has the augment slot, insert and augment and you now have a BIS piece. Note that those orange schematics aren't only added to armor/synth. I'll let you do a little more investigation and find out what is happening. No one deserves any sort of in-game "compensation" because they chose to bounce around in different professions. Pick something you like doing and stick to it. By the way, there's money to be made on items other than level 50. So please do a little checking around before posting your incorrect rants. Thank you.
  9. Have had the problem and reset UI (ctrl U) usually fixes it. If that doesn't work try relogging. Edit just realized relogging didn't fix it. I hope reset UI helps.
  10. So refreshing to see a positive post. I look forward to all the new things coming to the game in the future as well. It's fun playing Vanilla. Some day we'll look back and tell the new players, you weren't here for Vanilla. I remember when.......
  11. Wanted to point out here that this is true, although not for the current items in game other than the cybertech vehicles.
  12. You don't understand the meaning of phased out do you? Even the dev reposted and said they are not removing the reusables, but as new items become available the reusable falls farther behind. Already exotech is better than the rakata reusables, and exotech is usable by anyone AND has a 2 hr duration. Medpacks are limited to 1 per battle. 1.2 will change a lot of things for the crew skills. Please read up on the patch notes before coming here posting another QQ thread about biochem.
  13. The ones you are referring to are from operations - not craftable. Some are from lvl 50 daily quests. Pretty sure the are adding lvl 50 ones in 1.2 but I didn't level it high enough on ptr to find out.
  14. A refresh mission button sure would be handy. You should post this in the suggestion forum as well.
  15. If the goal is 400 biochem with no plans to craft blue or better items you could save some credits and just go biochem/bio analysis. Not saying diplomacy is bad but perhaps there is more money to be made selling augment materials and crafting missions from slicing or metals from underworld trading. Thanks for the guide!
  16. They aren't removing the requirement, they just aren't making new and improved versions that have said requirement. Eventually it won't be worth using the rakata as they will be grossly sub par to what everyone else is using.
  17. Is someone standing over you making you level armor mech or any other skill? Is someone standing over you threatening bodily harm if you didn't go biochem? I'm pretty sure no one is forcing you to do anything or forcing you to play this game. Please make a reasonable suggestion minus the drama and overdone QQ. Dry your tears and suck it up because biochem gets nerfed more in 1.2 while everything else is buffed. Edit - just noticed your forum date. You mean to say you have followed this game since '08 and were totally clueless about what crew skills offered what?
  18. You can make implants through Biochem. I'm pretty sure relics are from Artificer lvl 400. I know I picked up quite a few of them leveling Treasure Hunting.
  19. Server merges would be great. I didn't pick my server, Bioware did when it assigned our guild to the server. We went where Bioware assigned us on launch day. Server merges can't come soon enough for me or my guildies.
  20. If the reasons people are giving for NOT having LFG tool is it will destroy the community, then I hope it does destroy the community. The community is rude and obnoxious as it is and I'd love to see it gone. The kind of community that runs up and steals nodes or boxes while you are standing on top of the node or box fighting a mob so you can loot the node or box. I want that community dead. If LFG will kill that community, then so be it.
  21. I understand what you're saying. Like the look of your new Ops gear in 1.2? To bad, you have to buy or craft some orange piece with an augment slot. It just seems it would have been a better idea to be able to buy a crafted piece that attaches to your gear so you can attach the augment. Synthweavers and Armormechs will be making those augments in 1.2 so they won't be out anything. But now I feel like we are going to be required to have those crafted critted pieces to keep raid slots. Not unlike how people claimed raid leaders were requiring biochem to get raid slots. Additionally, maybe this is a way to cut corners on end game gear designs. Knowing people are going to have to buy the critted/crafted pieces in order to have bis and the end game pieces are basically throw away mod holders. EDIT: Thank you Murshawursha for the quote. It appears there will eventually be a way to add augments to any gear piece you like, crafted or otherwise. I just hope it happens sooner rather than later.
  22. I didn't know you could learn any orange biochem schematics. I'm really interested to know what it was. Could you please provide more info? What level was it. What were you re-engineering? Thanks. An in answer to your question, did you make sure you didn't somehow enable a filter so it's not showing anything?
