If they can't handle the load now, what are they going to do when ALL the subscribers are trying to play the game on the 20th+ I mean are there going to be 10h queues just to get on the server where your guild is? Will I have to log on and come back several hours later before I can get in? I'm more than a little worried ATM. If they are only letting a few through today, what are they going to do on the 20th? Will they be issuing credits for not being able to play? You have to admit, the roll out does raise some of these questions.

I think there are a lot of people around that remember SWG->NGE and how bad that was. The Forum Mod's could not delete posts fast enough. That was truly an epic blunder that was compounded by censorship and a position that NGE was good and we just had to accept it. SWTOR is nothing like that but still we rage against EA/Bioware. Lets just all calm down and wait our turn. We'll get in. If something like my name is taken, I'll deal with it. It's just a game...Granted a game that I paid $160 to play but still, just a game.

No, WoW on opening day...Now that was a BAD idea. One giant free for all. Servers crashing, characters created on other servers while they rebooted crashed ones. Lockups, Queues (if that worked)... LAWL, at least they are trying to be fair.

Yes, Amazon (others too) will email you the pre-order code but if you ordered the physical game you will have to have the box and the code within the box to play on Dec 20th. Hopefully EA will allow retailers to pre-ship the game a day or two early so there is no interruption of service.

Agree. I know STO <hack..bad game...hack> had a grace period of a week so you could wait for the box to arrive but it seems the Iron Fist of EA/Bioware is drawing a hard line cutoff of Dec 20th so...you might have to do something else for a week :-( I'm in the same boat. Mine from amazon says Dec 28th to Jan 3rd.

yes they are. I run Avast and just scanned the directory and didn't get any threats. I'd report it to them as a possible False Positive. I think they also have a false positive removal tool but it's been a while since I've used their scanner.
