  1. Use cartel coins to change them to fleet req and upgrade other ships.
  2. Sounds like you need to 'L2P'. If there is an abundance of gunships, grab a scout and get killing them. And dont give the tired retort of "oh, they work together and chain from base to base". You and i know that it NEVER happens like that and is an excuse bad players use to shift blame away from themselves.
  3. Stop. Queuing. Solo. Seriously. Thats the reason you have long queues. Queue as a group and your queue times drastically shorten.
  4. People really need to start reading before they post. The devs have already said that GSF was implemented in a limited form to ensure everything works. They have a TON of stuff in development for it.
  5. Basically he means, if you have 41% evasion, and your attacker has 100% accuracy, then they will hit you 100% of the time in that 59% chance to hit. So if the RNG says " Ok, next hit wont be evaded", then your attacker will be guaranteed to hit if he aims properly. If he has over 100% accuracy, then iirc from dev chats, and beta, your evasion chance goes down SLIGHTLY. it;s only a very slight percentile, and it doesnt make much difference, but it happens.

  8. Req numbers (rough): Per kill : 10 Per Sat Cap : 100 Defending a sat : 1/sec Now, which makes the most sense to do throughout the game? Dogfighting or actual attack and defend strats?

  10. Interdiction is basically useless for a GS, unless you are desperate. Ive seen nothing for it to outweigh the bonus from barrel roll. As for the inherent range, i think it was something like 2k.
  11. Fully agree. It's actually a very positive thing to see them doing this and getting it fixed ASAP.
  12. Before you do ANYTHING, Press H, look at the top right of the window and click the big yellow ?
  13. Think of your ships as regular characters. You cant sell your character, so you cant sell your ship.
  14. If you want faster queues, join your servers GSF chat channel and join one of the multiple groups that are queuing. You get much faster queues as the spaces in the match fill faster. On TOFN, we rarely wait more than 30 secs for a pop. As for a FPS view, post on the suggestion forums with a detailed reason why you think it should be added. If the devs agree with you and see an easy way of doing it, then theyll add it to the game.
  15. Indeed. its just sad people are crying because the servers are down. Then if they were up, theyd be crying because they couldnt queue for anything.

  17. Show me ONE thread that fills your description of my posting. I post fact when i reply. YOU and others post conjecture and unlikely scenarios, then claim it happens all the time.
  18. The main problem is the 1 min or so timer to accept the queue pop, but in the battle its 30 secs.
  19. Troll detected. Total damage done means nothing. Ion cannon is aoe and can be spammed. The gunship can even sit by the spawnship and attack the turrets to get a high overall dmg. Proof of this is in the stats the OP already stated. There is no possible way anyone could legitimately do that damage with the stated stats. For instance, about an hr ago i did 65k damage, had 27 kills, 17 assists and 0 deaths.
  20. The ONLY thing about a gunship that needs to change is Ion railgun. it needs to scale with the charge. NOTHING else needs to change at all. Anyone who tries to say otherwise has not got a single clue what they are talking about.
  21. it is bugged. The missile break does not work and afaik never have. I just use it because i like being 100% avoidance capped for the duration.
  22. In the current game, especially as there is an abundance of new inexperienced players, charged plating works very well. As time goes on, that will change, but there are other skills to use, as you pointed out.
  23. Good job the devs dont take notice of ideas like those in this thread. In other warzones, even on ground, the spawn points are protected. Why should you be able to spawn camp players? If a player runs to the ship, head the opposite way. Youll be well out of range of them before they even start to turn around and target you. It seems as if too many people value kills over the actual OBJECTIVE of the battle. Leave domination matches alone. Youll have your deathmatches next month, where you can cry about other ships being massively OP simply because you dont want to counter them or put any effort in.
  24. Everyone has a personal preference. I simply listed a base build that is solid and works together well. Of course, until you get at least tier 3 on the skills, you will be pretty easy to kill, but once you get the right skills, youll notice a whole world of difference.
