  1. So, for a bit of fun at the weekend, I bought two bundles of Cartel Packs, which gave a total of 48 Cartel Packs. Whilst it was great fun opening all the boxes, I noticed one or two things which made me question the 'fairness' of the items included in the packs. Banners, Belts and Bracers. Yup, for some reason, Banners, Belts and Bracers seem to be far more common than other items. Yes, I am aware of the mathematical rules of probability and 48 isn't ideal for extrapolating results. However, the amount of these items I received make me feel as I've been misled on what counts as RARE and SUPER RARE. It would appear to me, that Belts and Bracers are about three - four times more common than Helmets and Chestplates. As for the Banners Issue, they seem to appear in one of every three packs. They're a somewhat pointless items as, after you've received both types of banner, the rest have no worth in the GTN. You can't even give them away as most people already have them So. Whilst I found most items of some use (crafting and gifts are a solid, if unexciting addition), I was frankly insulted with the abundance of Belts and Bracers compared to Helmets and Chestpieces. Is it possible that some items that share the same level of rarity actually have a lesser chance of dropping that other items of that rarity? It would appear so, and if that is indeed the case, then surely, the rarity classification of those items is intentionally misleading.
  2. I'd like to see an option to change the colour of target reticles etc... in the main game and Starfighter. Why? Because I'm colourblind. Most developers are including colourblind options these days and SWTOR should keep up with the times. Basically, for most colourblind people, red HUD elements are incredibly difficult to see against green/brown backgrounds. This problem is most obvious in Starfighter where it is impossible to make out all the red icons against the backdrops; it wouldn't be too much of a problem if the game was set in empty space, but as it stands, it makes starfighter difficult and frustrating.
  3. I'd like too see an option where you can buy an item for for your account, rather than buying it for your player and than having to pay a further price to unlock it for the whole account. This is because there is a disparity in the price for account wide unlocks, and as far as I can work out, there's no way to see how much you have to spend to unlock and item for your account until you've paid for that item in the Cartel Market.
  4. Title says it all. The game is over all to quickly. Also, any chance of a first person view? My situational awareness blows with the current 'ship right in your face' view.
  5. Yeah... it's just the multiple banners, bra's and knickers that I want to sell. Funny how 48 Cartel Packs (yeah, I have money to burn) turn up with one chestpiece, one legpiece and a tonload of belts, bracers and bikini armour tops and knickers.
  6. Thanks guys. You've simplified it for me. Much appreciated.
  7. Ah... good. Understanding a bit more. So just to clarify, if character A get's helmet X, then character B, C, E... cannot wear helmet X until; 1. I have all the armour parts of that armour set. 2. I have bound all those armour parts to the same character. 3. I have paid to unlock that armour set across my account. Once those conditions have been satisfied, any character can then withdraw helmet X from the collection for no fee. So... once the collection is complete, can character A withdraw helmet x if; 1. I've destroyed helmet X either by accident or to make room in my cargo? 2. Withdraw a second helmet X for my companion to wear? And finally. If I've bound helmet X, but have no other parts of the armour set, can I destroy helmet X to make room in my cargo, but still complete the armour collection when I have the remaining parts, even though helmet X was bound, but has been destroyed.
  8. So.. how do I add it to my collection, and once it's in my collection, can I delete the original item from my inventory to make space? And... what do I do if I get identical items, but only want one, seeing as though, once in my collection I can have as many as I want. Can I sell the second original item? It would seem that the whole collection business follows the same model as the rest of the game, giving you fun stuff to do, but repeatedly punching you in the face at the same time. Plus... you add an item to your collection, but have to pay more money to unlock it for your entire account? So EA takes with one hand, and takes with the other - man, why do they have to overcomplicate the whole business, and what's with being able to buy stuff that was originally in the collectors edition? Sorry to sound like I've been eating lemons with my sour grapes, but I'm gettins somewhat frustrated with the many counter-intuitive methods employed in the game
  9. Help me please... I have no idea what the **** is going on. I opened one of those packs and got some items. Let's say some gloves, a belt and model spaceship that acts like the 15 second regen used out of combat. Apparently, I can use these items for other character, but how? I've read some stuff online and I still can't make head nor tail of it. To make matters worse, apparently, if I want my other characters to use items, I have to buy them again? What? So what do I do? Can I get rid of the items and then pick them out of the collections tab when I want them or not, and what's all this about buying stuff I already have? It's so confusing, I'm going to put my foot through the monitor and send EA the bill. Please help.
  10. Well, I've got my LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar to keep me entertained for a few minutes. Then there's all these Necrons that need constructing and painting. However, I think we all know that the best entertainment is to be found in the nerd-rage
  11. Hilarious thread. Remeber exams in school - Please read the questions in their entirety before answering them? Lessons learnt? Doesn't look like it
