This is all spot on, unfortunately for us, it's easier for BW to keep the one guy doing "class balancing" rotating the FOTM every patch instead of getting their hands dirty and fixing all the issues with the game's mechanics. Now they're destroying two fundamental mechanics of the Operative/Scoundrel AC and over nerfing others while buffing some that had no need for a buff. Didn't they say at one point it was better to bring the classes that were falling behind up to par with everyone else rather than handing out unwarranted nerfs? It would have been nice if they had done so at least once.

  5. You're kidding me, right? You're whining about people stacking classes and you don't even realize it. Get two smashers to jump you together, you'll blow up much faster, or two Mercs, two Madness Sorcs etc. Stack any class in this game against a single opponent and watch them blow up. Not to mention you are playing the squishiest class in this game, and many players will be able to put an armor debuff on you or have an armor penetration buff on themselves. Of course you're gonna get ****ed in PvP. Play with some friends who will peel for you. Have your team help you and throw out some taunts as they focus on the Ops and see how easily you make it out of there alive.
  6. That's not the reason, I had grenades but I chose not to use them. There's no need, it's a dueling tournament. You should be limited to the tools of your class and there is more than enough CC in this game. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing many people use them before I had to go.
  7. With more people, less grenades, and a better time slot than Saturday night was fun tho.
  8. I think the Warrior's charge is instant, the moment it's activated you're rooted, even though he's still going through the animation of flying through the air. As far as the game and server is concerned, the moment a Warrior leaps to you, he's already on you. But in the game you have to wait for the animation to complete, sort of like a Sage getting stunned when he activates Project, sure you can stun him mid-animation, but that piece of garbage he pulls out of the ground will still hit you. If you've played a Warrior then you may have run into the bug where you Force charge at an enemy but your character jumps in place and then you instantly teleport to the enemy you charged. Pretty much backs this up.

  11. We used to have two, they were PvE only, a lot of classes had them. They were removed from the game a very long time ago. I think one was called Eviscerate, and the other was Sniper related, but we could use it as well. Good times.

  14. I didn't stay solely in mid, I was all over the place man, as I said in my post. Everywhere and nowhere at once, like a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight. Don't get me wrong, I'm being an *** to prove my point. Which is that most of these PvP messiah's are nowhere near what their friends make them out to be on this forum. They get trumped by "nobodies" like me and others all the time. They need to expand their social circles a bit and not be so narrow minded. Threads like these will continue to be a joke until then.
  15. Objectives in Huttball? Like healing my teammates so we can control mid, passing the ball forward the few times it was chucked my way, and healing the ball carrier when the other healer is too busy picking fights by the dumpster/dps powerup and then proceeding to roll my *** over there so I can save said healer? Yeah I must have stood by our spawn using the super secret Operative Consumption skill that totally exists to get those numbers, huh. Idk who Obiwan is or which of us two he is referring too, but I know it can't be Bama, seeing as how it was Helio and Az (whenever these two weren't busy tearing up the enemy and scoring), Mo, Mary, Mega and myself who held mid. Bama came and grabbed the ball and rolled it forward a few times, which is helpful sure, and I'm positive it was due to his exceptional skill as a player and nothing at all to do with us controlling the area. What's really pathetic is the constant stream of excuses from most of you, a bunch of average players that need to bunch up and make a thread like this just to pad your buddies on the back. And please don't think that syncing queues with ~10 other people and playing deathmatch on a server where ranked is dead is any indication of skill. @Thirdeye, in the end, the numbers on the leaderboard that do matter are Protection and Healing, because that's what keeps everyone alive so that we can win a game. Dps, big or small isn't as indicative of any skill, though. You can do a ton of dps and still be useless in a match, but healing and tanking? That is never useless.

  17. I'll usually start with 4 or go 3-6. I've been meaning to due a 1-6 marathon ever since the Bluray set came out but I ended up starting at 4 and ending at 3 :\ Since then I've pretty much just watched the OT. Will do a proper marathon one of these days though, the music in the game makes me want to start each time I play but then I think of Phantom Menace and the feeling goes away.
  18. When did he state it did compete? Calculated Frenzy gives us 6% alacrity for 15 seconds and he just explained how useless that is and how much better it will be with 6% critical chance instead.
  19. Not as significant as I'd hoped. This won't come anywhere near making up for our crappy defense, and none of it will fix our weak *** opening when Hidden Strike doesn't crit. I'll be trying it out later today, hopefully it turns out better than it sounds.
  20. PT tanks, they mitigate and dish out damage better than any other type of tank, it's insane.
