  1. Is there any chance we will get a real space game? I love the PvP battleground space game but it really isn't much in terms of an MMORPG setting. NO offense to anyone.
  2. There is no doubt that the class story is the one thing of SWTOR that most really enjoy with little debate. But here we are in a scenario where I would rather have one large world bigger than anything in game. I would also rather see player apartments in reference to KOTOR or a guild station office\instance. Just something that reflects the guild system.
  3. I see people all the time in the starting areas, it is not an empty game at all. This is a great game.
  4. OH I love the game- I just want my guild name back.
  5. [suggestion] One time character transfer fee in real cash for all characters per account.
  6. I left because I had a death in my family that affected my personal life and needed time to heal. I love this game and I Am very happy to be back minus the fact that my guild is being held by someone who refuses to give it back. A guild name that I have had since 2003...
  7. Does Bioware_EA offer a character transfer for all characters for one fee as opposed to the 1800 coin fee per character?
  8. I really have to add that class stories were the coolest and most agreed upon feature that gamers loved about SWTOR. But with a F2P model you have to pump out the content. The game has to generate profit to exist or it ends.
  9. I am starting to think the wall of crazy means vaporized. Thanks guys/gals. Moving on in topics.
  10. Apologies, its a question. I normally use planetary locations for guild meetings in game but it would be fun to have some type of structure a guild can share that they own or can have some bragging rights. I am just geeky in that manner. I posted this at work, man I sound snotty when I am at work that is not good lol !
  11. Now that we know EA has the Star Wars license for a full decade why no guild halls?
  12. With software development anything is possible. It just takes time and money. Obviously the physics are now written in code for free space flight. If AI is seriously the only issue then consult with other divisions of EA. No offense, wasn't the buyout of BW by EA supposed to solve issues like developers (programmers) who cannot undertake such a a massive tasks as AI? I can understand the massive amount of development needed. It takes a lot of time. And considering with the type of content that is made for SWTOR in the F2P model, its expensive. Not to be too critical or offensive but the "massive open space maps" aren't going to happen with this version of the HE even though Hero (cloud) Engine 2.0 can make maps that are 25x25 miles. I don't know what this version of the HE can do, there just is no evidence of large worlds (maps) in SWTOR. But I have to hand it to the engineers who have practically rewritten this engine, I bet you can pull it off if the task was handed too your team who specifically works on this engine at EA BW. Now Eve is an entirely different breed. And as far as I am concerned I am fed up with all the PS3 exclusives CCP is in the midst of. PC gamer's are getting the shaft. And we are in the midst of the revival arcade mini games since wow- I miss good space games. But look at all the improvements on this games engine since SWTOR was released. It will happen eventually.
  13. Seriously, the engineers at EA are highly qualified to pull this off themselves. BW-EA could pull these requested features off. The education, experience, and credentials are all in that large company we know as "EA". If anyone spent some time with Hero Clouds wiki you start to learn what really is possible even with this version of the Hero Engine.
  14. 21 million dollars "donated" to make "Star Citizen" because people really do want to play a space game, even if they are zones and look shiney. Lots of development time to add to this engine- might as well do it since BW\EA has practically rewritten the engine anyways. ^
  15. @ SWTOR Devs\prgrammers\designers\artist- It looks really beautiful. Ty for adding the code and physics to go off the rails in SWTOR. I think this is an excellent beginning and a well thought out experiment to see how space combat works off the rails in SWTOR. I can't wait to play it in December. I am also happy to see that PvP players will be granted such attention and we can look to the future. With that in mind the concept of space can go further than just PvP maps. I am really excited to see how it can become part of PvE, not only for PvE but how it can further the scope of the SWTOR game play. There is nothing wrong with having a space game that hosts massive maps above the planets, or even offers a new experience to the SWTOR game that we have seen in classics such as Freelancer, X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, JTLS, the coming Star Citizen, or the behemoth Eve Online in terms of scope and size. The possibilities for PvE is now endless. - love it!!!! The fact that you delivered the off the rails promise makes me a believer in the game again. Take some chances here, build something big. We are all cheering for you BioWare. This is the BioWare we all know and love. Capitol ships- still want them!!!!
  16. Now that they have the "code" down for free flight that is not on rails (which is no small feat with this Hero Engine) I bet we will see a ton of new PvE content for space next year. It
  17. @ SWTOR BioWare Team, way to go guys.gals. Having to code this into the game engine is just outstanding. With that in mind I do have a question- will we have large space maps to explore? Or are we going to keep the pvp aspect of space an dnot have any exploration or discovery allowed for a space game- MMORPG style. Thank you BW for the hard work on the game. It really has come a long way. I wish the Dr's were still here.
  18. I would love to see larger Hero Engine 2.0 seamless worlds-
  19. Has anyone purchased cartel coins from game stop?
  20. I am pretty excited about a new space game because we get off the rails. I love space games such as Free Lancer and the classic space games prior to SWTOR. Its just a long ways out. Must alpha test!
