Why is BW sitting on Paid Character Transfers?
Wrathchyld replied to Graydon's topic in General Discussion
Hey guys, thanks for the free transfers but I've found that I prefer another server so why are you idling when it comes to paid transfers? I've never seen a company who didn't want money. Please respond to the thread that is obviously important to the player base that has remained loyal to the game. Please take our money and allow us to transfer our characters. Please for once finish what's obviously gotten off to a good start. *standing here waving money around* -
Have people left? Yes. People come and go all the time in MMOs. I think a lot of folks chose to not re-sub and perhaps take a look at the game in a month or two to see if Bioware has worked out the bugs that well... bugged them as players. The game is not dead by any means but the forum hype would make you think SWTOR was cold on the slab.

I've kept all of my orange sabers. Can't bring myself to sell them. I'm also picky about the "sound" my saber makes. Some are just less appealing and pale in comparison when expecting a schzoom schzoom sound and it ends up sounding more like "fthit fthit". I'm constantly gutting one saber to update a newer one.

Did I miss something somewhere? Innovative server forums? *blinks* How would you prefer we spend our time Bioware? Sifting through threads to find those that are related to our individual servers or hmm, actually playing the game. This entire thing is a fustercluck

No one forces a player to use an exploit. And though I myself love PvP immensely, it's not the only factor that brought me to this game. If PvP is the only reason you're here AND you have the patience of a gnat by all means cancel your subscription and go play the perfect games out there. Oh wait... there are no perfect games.

There is no emotion; there is the queue
Wrathchyld replied to TheDrJack's topic in General Discussion
Not going to tell you to put up with it. Just going to mention that MMOs have queues when they release. It's part of the process. WoW had hella long queues and ever worse queues when BC released. Lord that was a nightmare. I know you're frustrated but it's just part of being an MMO gamer at launch. Hang in there. -
I know that queue times are a pain but is anyone else excited because of what they represent? I mean these are only PRE-ORDERS and the game isn't officially, official yet! It makes me giddy. The Star Wars fan in me who has been searching for the "right fit" since leaving SWG when they launched the NGE fiasco is now happy. I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas present for the gamer side of me.

I think the handling of early access has been spot on. People got upset because they didn't get into EA on the first day but most of them weren't being realistic. If you pre-ordered late why would you think you'd get the full 7 days? Server stability has been excellent on our chosen server and we've encountered enough folks in the zones to make it enjoyable without having to fight for spawns. The staggered access works. The people I did and still do feel sorry for are those with legitimate issues in regards to not receiving their EA codes as well as other assorted technical problems. We're sticking with SWTOR for the long haul. We put up with server outages, crashes, flooded starter zones and worse when WoW launched back in 2007. SWTORs start has been butter. Uhm btw, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the 12 Days of Smack Talkin'!! "Six rehashed bosses in 4.3...... BOOM" E P I C Great show. Great cast. Keep up the awesome work for the gaming community!

For all you who are canceling your Pre-orders.
Wrathchyld replied to Cleagane's topic in General Discussion
I don't get cancelling a pre order because you don't get into early access on the first day. I preodered for the ingame STUFFS! Ya know if they take away my black n' yellow crystal.. I'm out. -
Canceling amazon pre-order and wont buy at launch, 3 reasons
Wrathchyld replied to SaerethDL's topic in General Discussion
Why do people feel the need to write up an epic post telling people they don't know that they're leaving? cue "Gone With the Wind Music" Frankly Scarlet, we don't give a damn!" Ciao -
You get to play on December 20th.

launch, pre-launch, early launch whatever. Bottom line. It's not a bad launch. You want bad launch? Burning Crusade 'nuff said

QQing about a game that doesn't release until the 20th. you didn't get more free days. *pats* it's alright, you'll get into the game soon enough. The 20th is only a week away.
