So there mostly tank with some DPS moves?

Im a sith Juggernaut and i dont know what to be a Tank or Damage I cant tell which do you guys think is better?

It's a high level headgear. It's actually part of the level 50 PvP gear, but unfortunately that video is misleading as it's the Scoundrel that gets the face mask, not the Gunslinger. (And the hat looks lame without the mask, sadly.)

From what I hear healers actually have the easiest time soloing the game, being able to solo even heroics because you actually have the ability to keep your companion going for much longer than other classes. I would assume combat would take much longer in that case though.

The Gunslinger easily beats out the Scoundrel in the DPS department, but that's because the Gunslinger is built specifically for DPS, while the Scoundrel is not.

I'm guessing that her race will be available for cc eventually. I don't see why it wouldn't, since they're not much different than Twi'leks. Hopefully that will be something we'll see with the Legacy update. Yeah, that's probably the main caveat. She seems like a pretty important Jedi, so she'd need a really good explanation for why she would decide to travel around with a Smuggler instead. But I'm sure they could come up with something reasonable and interesting.

Sabatour and Dirt Fighting specs can both handle PvP fine. Sharpshooter's less so.

I actually don't care if Sumalee is a romance option or not, I simply like her as a character and want her as a companion. I also think we could use an actual Jedi on the team, one that actually has a personality. Romance option would just be a plus. (They could even make her the gay romance option they promised if they really wanted. <_<) If they were to expand upon the class storylines I would assume it would be long enough to add more than one companion, so I'm sure they could cover both sides.

She was one of the more likeable characters in the Smuggler storyline (especially for a Jedi) and it would be nice to have one Jedi companion. (And she's probably the most Smuggler-y Jedi I've seen.) Not to mention she'd make a better romance option than Risha IMO. Here's hoping if they ever expand on the Smuggler storyline that they find a reason to have her join your crew.

Both the Smuggler and Bounty are basically the "neutral" classes. (Smuggler leaning more toward light and the bounty hunter more toward dark.) Being 100% light or dark feels pretty out of character for both. However it really just depends on how you perceive your character. My Smuggler is like 80/20 light/dark, simply picking the choices that felt right. (I actually turned off the alignment indicator, because I didn't want it to influence any choices I make.)

That's mostly true. You do often get to alter the ultimate conclusion of the quest storylines through your choices, but it really has no actual impact on the game itself. Whether you choose to kill someone or save them you'll still get the same rewards and it won't alter any following quests you receive.

Activation times won't change unless you raise alacrity.

Anyone on Warriors of the Shadow with any pieces they are willing to sell? haven't had much luck finding any yet XD

That would be the Incendiary Grenade, since it's instant. But Flyby might be second. (And if you have both...)

Sabatour because I can kill entire mobs in seconds, I'm not anchored to cover nearly as much as SS and yet I can still handle elites and PvP fine. Most of all the spec is simply the most fun to play of the 3 Gunslinger specs. If I'm "doing it wrong" then this game must be pathetically easy otherwise. I'm a level 50 Sabatour and I have no intention or desire to change my spec anytime soon. (Besides tweaking some of the point placement.)

I'm okay with the 3s tic, but I do agree that it should tic sooner rather than later.

I just got to level 50 using Bowdaar as my companion exclusively without much problem. Yeah, he does take a lot of damage and dies more often than a player tank would, but as long as you're not the one dying it's not really that big of a deal. As mentioned, you can try turning off some of his AoE attacks to share some of the aggro if you want him to live a little longer, but as a Sabatour I find it more efficient to have him keep the enemies nicely grouped together.

The tech one. If I recall it's the only one that actually buffs the Gunslinger's skills.

It's not the best move ever, but I've definitely gotten use out of it in PvP. It is obviously not that useful in a 1v1 situation and I don't really think it should be. But throw it into the middle of a large battle where enemies are preoccupied with other players and you either hit them all for a bunch of damage or force them to get out of the way and interrupt their attacks.

I'm sure the female has her share of flirt options, but I know as a male you basically get the opportunity to "black screen" a woman on like every other planet.

I believe it's an anti-defense property. In other words, it's less likely the enemy will deflect/dodge your attacks. I haven't done enough testing to see if it makes a notable difference. (I doubt it's worth it for a Scoundrel compared to a Gunslinger though.)

I got to level 50 as a Gunslinger using Bowdaar as my tank without much trouble. He's obviously not as good as a player tank, but he keeps me from dying and that's all I need him to do. Well that and keep enemies grouped together for my AoE's, which he also does fine. It would be nice if he didn't die as often, but as long as I'm not the one dying I don't care that much.

The day that min/maxing is necessary is the day I quit playing.

That's more a sharpshooter specifically, not the Gunslinger in general. Sabatour and Dirty Fighting Gunslingers have more variety than that and aren't even that anchored to cover. (Although it's still more than a Scoundrel, obviously.) Also I'm not sure how portable cover makes it "extra easy". Portable cover isn't the same or as good as natural cover.
