What class are you? MY BH Merc is fine healing spec for quests, companions help a lot. I've also dps'd as healer spec in HMs, didn't hit enrage timers This is a case of L2P, unless BH mercs just have good dps in healer spec

Have the key on my Iphone, so it's with me at all times anyway. I would never use the key you get with the CE, would be a pain to keep that on you. It's a layer of protection against hackers, which makes it great. Don't like it, simply don't use it, it takes 5 secs (if that) to login with it.

I like it as well, but people freak out over every change. If people truly are getting sick over the minor flashing, I wonder how you are able to play games at all, as there is much more flashing through affects and abilities. More than one option is always good though.

1920x1080 21.5 inch HD monitor. I find it easy to spot the number, and all I do is glance at it for less than a second. Every player is different I guess. My action bars in that other game, were a 1/4 of the size of the ones we have in SWTOR.

Have you noticed your keybinds light up if you can use that ability next? and they stay dull if you can't?

Or you can just look at your keybind and check if it is lit up or not. Simple.

Why don't you know which ability to use until after the animation is over?

How bad is your eyesight? The numbers are massive in the current UI. I can;t wait till i can edit this UI to make it smaller, it's far too big.

Look at your keybinds on your hotbar, the number lights up if it is usable, if it isn't, it is dull... I found this out instantly. Now I am finding out why so many people stand in fire, you are all glued to your hot bars.

Quoting your post since you had this issue. Played my Jedi Knight and noticed how to tell if my ability was usable on the next gcd. Whatever your keybind is, be it 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, F, T whatever it is. If it is not usable on the next gcd, it will stay dull, but if it is usable, the number will light up as the gcd ability is active. Hope this makes sense. To the people who get headaches, are you epileptic? Do you go to a club and complain?

Ok, well I play a Merc Healer and I don't have any issues with knowing when anything is off cd. Kolto Missile and Emergency Scan have never been so clear lol I can't speak for your issue until I try it on a character that uses rage. Shouldn't you know how much rage you have though?

I understand perfectly thanks you very much. I cast a spell, I get a bright icon down all bars, since they are on cd for 1.5 secs. My long cd spells are now brightly lit if they are on cd. I'm not a fan of the UI, I can't wait till I can edit it, but the ability cd's are fine, only a idiot can't tell when a ability is on or off cd.

I play a healer, my Ops frame tells me if they are in range... add in the fact that it goes dark/dark red if they are out of range.

I like it, it is very clear now. You people complain about anything. Number countdown would be my preferred choice though.
