So I've been talked into coming back to the game by some friends who've always been here, and I'm wondering. Is the pre-order bonus for shadow of revan that apparently gives enough bonus from class quests that you can almost level them available to anyone who buys it now, or available in any other way? Or is it simply gone, only for those who pre-ordered to enjoy? Because TBH I always adored the class stories, but I just hated doing the filler between them while leveling- and a chance to level with class stories alone (or at least, mostly just class stories) would be simply amazing.

Will it ever be possible for Female player characters to display the 'male' versions of some armor sets? In particular, those that expose the midrift and arms on females but have woven underlays on males. Often on my SI and SW I find armor that exposes the midrift on females, but on males- it has some amazingly complex looking underlay where the female stuff shows skin. In particular, my SI raid gear looks /very/ silly with my character's red skin poking out through everything when on a male they have a woven armor look. This is made all the more annoying by the fact that Ashara displays her armor in the 'male' version - no bellyshirts for her.

It happened to me randomly in normal wins plenty before the patch, but since the patch, it has been happening only when the game times out due to a lack of players. So I assumed it was intentional. Sorry that I was wrong :-P

It ain't a bug. If you win by default because the other side ragequit while your team was in the lead, you get no credit- Which (though I wish it was otherwise), is, I suppose fair enough. The problem is that people get no punishment for ragequitting when they're not winning.

Is it possible to get the clock in the bottom right corner of the minimap to display the server time, or otherwise find your server's current time anywhere in the game? I tend to rely upon this for being able to tell when events are (being an australian player, it takes some conversions to get the right time, otherwise), and yet I can't find a server -time clock anywhere in the game. If anyone knows how to get one, I would very much appreciate it.

Kinda. You might be able to get more for it, but that depends on having another player out there being willing to pay whatever it is you're asking- which isn't guaranteed. A vendor will always give you a set price for the item no matter what, but on the GTN you might not be able to find someone to buy it.

I don't think we will see oceanic servers until a bit after there is a official release date for this game in AUS / NZ. Makes little sense for them to place servers in locations where the game is not yet for sale (hell, they've not even gotten it approved in aus yet, and the estimated date from most sources it is being out in march at the earliest)

Eh. 'Real' names can run out, and people don't like being forced to name their character in certain ways. There will -always- be people insisting on XDARKSIDERX or the like, and it ain't fair to tell them that they should be Paul instead. Let them enjoy their names.

While I do love the people whinging about FAILED MMO GUYS after less than a week, I have to say this. Some people find a game they love to play, and keep coming back to it. There will -always- be some people who love SWG more than other MMOs, be it because of pride in something or other, friends in the game, or something else (They might like wookies a bit too much or something. Who knows?) So... Yes, SWTOR is quite capable of drawing many people who play SWG purely because SWG is a star wars MMO. But there will always be holdouts who love SWG because it is SWG.

What I heard is that SI and Warrior can be Darth or Lord. You get Lord from finishing the first third (or was it second) of your class quest lines, and Darth when you've finished up the entire class story-line.

I'm just starting my play now, and I'm a touch worried about the darkside/ lightside conversation options. Is it like it was in KOTOR. or has dark side mellowed out a bit? Because I do love playing a dark-sider, but it gets painfully annoying when the dark side comes down to 'RAWR I WILL KICK YOUR PUPPY AND THEN LAUGH AT YOU!" type stuff nonstop.

LucasCanon says it is palpatine and luke. And given how LucasCanon is law in Star Wars... The most powerful sith is Palpatine, and the most powerful jedi is Luke.
