  1. Tacticals need to be brought down a bit if they expect us to beat it without a healer. Some mobs are just tuned terribly and will destroy you no matter how good your gear is. These are the introductory Flashpoints and should not be difficult to beat. That's what HMs are for. Hopefully this will be addressed sooner rather than later.
  2. I'm waiting for the response saying that "early summer" was a misspeak. Surely he can't possibly mean late June/early July. They've been making it sound like news will be announced any day now. 2 months would just be ridiculous.
  3. You people on high-pop servers really don't have a clue what it's like on low-pop servers. That, or you just aren't capable of empathy. High-pop people are getting way more for their money. BW is screwing us and themselves by letting this problem go on for months.
  4. Let me rephrase, then. Post if you are in support of starting warzones only if teams are even (8v8) and ending early if they become uneven. Ending a warzone at 2 players is way too low. This won't really be a problem when cross-server queues become available, as games will pretty much never be uneven, so maybe that's why they are delaying. This is just lazy, though. It's an easy change in the mean-time.

  7. I just don't understand it! Less people would quit, so it's a win for both the consumer and the company.
  8. Can we get a comment on this, please? We've been patient long enough. Also, I'd like to point something out. This is taken straight from the 1.2 patch notes in the general PVP section: Warzones will no longer shutdown early due to population imbalance. Then this was said a few days ago by DanielErickson: "In the next couple of days we will be deploying a small patch..." "Warzones will once again be shutting down when population imbalance is detected. This was an unfortunate bug where a feature of Ranked Warzones (in full team play it is not desirable to let one team end the game prematurely by quitting out) was incorrectly implemented globally." How is this a bug when it was listed as an intended change for ALL PVP games, and why wasn't the fix included in this week's patch? Also, why are matches allowed to start without even teams, and why has this never been addressed? Thank you.
  9. Thanks for the clarification. It would be nice if that was more obvious, without doing testing, or knowing the developers' equations. Still, adjusting these levels, among other things, obviously had a significant impact on pvp damage. They normalized the levels so they cancel out, but I hope they didn't intend pvp to be like this.
  10. Are you guys really going to nerf damage across the board when this is only a pvp issue? again? It's clearly an issue between the ratio of damage expertise bonus and mitigation expertise bonus.
  11. The armoring is attached to the slot. You can do what you are asking, but the armoring piece can only be transferred to a piece of the same type, e.g. gloves to gloves.
  12. This change is so biased towards high pop servers. I imagine they would never even notice this because their games fill up so quickly, but this change completely ruins low pop servers, as if they weren't bad enough already. DON'T LET A WARZONE POP THAT ISN'T EVEN TO BEGIN WITH! Why is this such a difficult concept? Can anyone explain why this would be a mechanic that makes sense?
  13. I agree with OP. This especially sucks for sorcs. They get hammered now, having light armor, and can barely get a heal off. I guess people were complaining that it's too hard to kill people with healers around, but I thought it was pretty well-balanced before. The only good thing you can say now is that combat feels more fast-paced. People die faster so it may force you to use more strategy. If you want us all to be DPS classes, just get rid of healing.
  14. I discovered a fix for this, by the way, for anyone having this issue. Locate your character files in the users/appdata/etc. folder and move them to a different folder. Restart the game and it should work, though you will have to change some of your game settings again.
