Why extend the time for the warzone to start? Why not just NOT LET THE WARZONE START until it fills?

Yeah because i never use vent and never run in a pug right? Actually im ALWAYS in vent and ALWAYS in a premade. Doesnt matter, starting warzones 8v5 or 8v4 results in either losing the first door in voidstar or getting triple capped on civil war.

Wrong, uneven matches shouldnt even START. What would be so wrong with making the countdown in the start of a warzone 30 seconds...Then NOT STARTING THE COUNTDOWN until the warzone is FULL.

Whatever happend to the days where people PVP for the sake of PVP and not strictly for the rewards? I see people threaten to unsubscribe all the time simply because loot doesnt go in their favor all the time. I truelly miss the old days where people PVP'd for PVP and not for the loot.

I predicted it. If it's not Tracer Missile people will cry about SOMETHING. Heatseeker Missile is the next in line now. People just have NO IDEA how easy it is to destroy a merc DPS. Any class with an interupts can destroy a merc. Simply put, quit being bad. 8k heatseeker should only be 35% of your health. That's NOTHING in the big scheme of things considering it has a long cooldown.

This...*** would it matter? People in raid gear would dominate people NOT in raid gear. Why not just asked for PVP with no gear at all? Just make any and all gear you are wearing cosmetic only and everyone has the same stats pertaining to their class.

I don't give a crap about pugs vs premades. I'm almost always rolling with a premade. But when half the matches START at 8 vs 5 it really doesnt matter on 3 of the 4 warzones. Huttball you can still kick *** with a good group of 4 against 8. The other 3 warzones you just dont have the numbers to cover all the objectives and are certainly outnumbered no matter where you go. It happened again today about 5 times. Why in the WORLD dont they just make it so warzones wont START until they fill up like every other damn multiplayer game in the world.

To make it so warzones that are 8 vs 4 go for the full duration instead of ending? Honestly I am just sick and tired of joining warzones and the match STARTING with only 5 people and the other team has 8. Does Bioware not see the MAJOR disadvantage to this on places like Civil War and Voidstar? Not only this but they DECREASED the rewards in losing warzones. So whenever you get into a warzone and it starts short handed in turn losing the first door in voidstar or losing 2-3 objectives in civil war, even more people start quitting because there's ZERO penalty and truelly no reason in even staying in the warzone. I dont understand these changes AT ALL. What the hell are people thinking when they change things like this? I cant think of a SINGLE reason why they would take warzones ending prematurely due to imbalance out of the game without making warzones NOT start until the group fills. Seriously usually after the team gets the first door down in voidstar is when the rest of your team joins. So why the HELL not just delay the start of the warzone for like 1-2 minutes? I'm raging hard, yes. It has happend about 5 times in a row now. Like are ranked warzones going to be like this too? PVP is the only thing keeping me around this game and it seems 1.2 completely ruined warzones. This has happend to me about 5 times today out of only 6-7 queues.

Who's idea was it to announce this a mere 7 hours before the patch goes live? Honestly it's one of the stupidest things I've seen an mmo developer do. Why do i get this feeling that Electronic Arts is behind this?

Bioware has obviously known this would not go live for a long time now. They didnt just wake up this morning and say "hmm lets not add ranked wz's, they arent ready."

How the hell could they wait until today to announce this? This is RIDICULOUS! I only play to PVP and the main motivation to PVPing will not be in the game. I never complain about stuff but this is just stupid they would wait until the day before the patch to inform us that it wont have the #1 feature some of us have been waiting for.

So...Is it true the stats are the same, but the ranked gear is a different color? So what is stopping people from just buying all unranked pieces, then just buying the ranked chest and making the color of the rest of your armor match?

Unfortunately good teams wont let you do that. Trick is to AOE them both. The healer will need to decide who to heal in turn allowing you to kill one of them. Your strategy works great against *******. Not so great against competent people.

Definitely agree that in SWTOR its the players and not the class. There's amazing players of every class. And there's horrible players of every class. In SWTOR it truelly matter who is behind the keyboard.

Guard needs nerf. Not healing. Quit thinking you're overpowered when you have a good tank guarding and taunting you reducing your incoming damage by 95% at times. I can burst any healer down in a single rotation if they dont have guard. I cant burst down any healer with any rotation if they do have guard/taunts. Trooper/BH healers with guard are particularly impossible to kill at times.

This is just ridiculous that there is not a WP7 app for security. Is Bioware effectively saying that people with Windows Phones are not entitled to account security? Before you say "buy the physical key" I already tried twice now. First time EA sent it to California when im in Canada. I called them for 3 weeks trying to get it sorted out and they told ME TO CALL UPS AND SORT IT OUT WITH THEM. Eventually UPS sent the package back to EA and EA cancelled my order and kept all the shipping costs. So i decided to try again...I ordered it over 2 months ago now and havent heard a word and never have gotten a return email. So that's 20$ so far spent on the physical security key and havent gotten it in over 3 months. So do i need to pay for 5 security keys in order to just get 1 when everyone else is getting it for free with their iphones and androids?

The respawn doors in voidstar is why i hate voidstar. Honestly, it does not matter how well you beat the other team, it all matters WHEN YOU KILL THEM. The doors are on a static timer across all players. So if you wipe the entire other team in a spam of 5 seconds, if the respawn door is about to drop, that wipe you just made will mean nothing. They will all respawn in a matter of seconds. At the same time, if you are the one defending, you can be killed right as the respawn door come up meaning you wait the entire duration to respawn. When this is the case you will more than likely see 3-5 teammates waiting at the door watching the other team respawn and cap. Voidstar is completely random and it's all because of the respawn doors. Sure good teams flourish but about 50% of the time you get a door down it's because of the timing in which you killed the enemy. You kill them right before the door drops and you have no chance of planting the bomb. You kill them as the door closes and you will easily plant the bomb. It's WAY too random.

I'm Valor 73 and I get warzone leader probably 2 for every 3 warzones i join. I could even be a fresh Valor 73 and still get it. Other times someone with Valor 68 will get it even if im about to gain a valor rank. I like to say its random but that would not explain why i get it 2/3 matches i join.

Obviously I'm being sarcastic. But you get the point so i succeeded.

The funniest thing ever is...When a wowtard comes to a new mmo they insist it's a wow clone. Then a week later they complain how it isnt enough like wow, i.e. "this game needs addons, this game needs macros, this game needs arenas, this game needs this and that because wow has it". All while saying the game is too much like wow because it has a hotbar UI. Ex-wow players are the scum of the earth. They are like locusts that destroy everything in their path. They are bent on the destruction of any and all games that are not World of Warcraft.

In PVP I have hit Heatseeker Missile recently for 6.5k. What's even better though is how I put explosive dart on the target, charge a tracer missile, then let go of heatseeker. All 3 skills hit at once. Explosive dart crits for about 3.5k, tracer crits for about 4k, heatseeker is rarely below 5k. So that's 12.5k burst damage in a matter of 1 second combining all 3 skills.

I love how any mmo with a hotbar UI is deemed a wow clone by wow fanbois who havent played any other mmo's in their lifetime. Bioware promised a story driven mmo. Bioware delivered a story driven mmo. The OP just does not like a story driven mmo. He is entitled to his opinion. But this is so NOT a wow clone. About the only thing that this game and wow have in common is that they are both mmorpg's. Yes, they have similarities because they are in the same genre of games. It's just like Call of Duty compared to Battlefield. Are they clones of each other? Definitely not. Do they both have a first person view with guns and similar interfaces? You bet! Oh and as far as PVP goes...Gear doesnt mean NEARLY as much as you think. Bad players make excuses when they are bad. You can hit expertise soft cap from wearing only Centurion gear and a few champ pieces which can be gotten in less than a week if you actually try. Or wait...Is the OP talking about the gear gap between a fresh 50 wearing all level 35 quest greens vs a battlemaster? Most baddies do compare that. Pretty much every other warzone i solo queue to join has someone wearing level 35 gear. Maybe that's the OP? Pro tip: Optimize your gear when you hit level 50 with all the best mods you can get from daily quests and crafting. You will actually notice that the gear gap is nowhere near what you think it is. All someone needs to compete against a full battlemaster is 400-500 expertise. Like i already said, you can get this in less than a week if you actually try. Unfortunately most ex-wowtards dont know what the word "try" even means. Side note: World of Warcraft is the Michael Jackson of mmo's. It's sold millions yet sucks badly, it mostly attracts little boys, and its dead.
