  1. I don't see the point here, some people are like the poster and pvp for the sake of pvp, some people play for rewards. It doesn't matter, just play your way.....
  2. Doesn't neccesarily have to be valor to wear the pvp gear, could also be something like valor to buy a cosmetic moddable orange set that u can only get with a certain valor rating, but good point
  3. Its a good and bad idea imo, in one way its good, but in another, if people see a known match thrower or something queuing, they won't queue up, and then the queue will die, so it might work to kill q's even more in some scenarios
  4. ^^^^ this its not easy, and its not cheap. Thats why i didn't put it on my list of things. These are small things that could be done relatively easily to better the game.

I want to start by saying that these are my ideas, you may disagree or have other ideas of your own or just want to troll this post, and whatever you want to do feel free to post a reply with your own ideas or criticisms. This is just a thread i'm making with all my ideas in one place and hopefully someone will read it and maybe we can improve this game a bit. That said, onto my ideas: Increase advertising for SWTOR. In my opinion, the chief problem with SWTOR PvP is the lack of people playing it, especially from a ranked standpoint. With the shutdown of shadow realms, i believe it would be good for SWTOR to start some sort of ad campaign, get the game out there, and increase the player base, thereby helping PvP population and the game as a whole. 2018 expertise requirement for ranked PvP This would reduce the amount of trolls and undergeared players in ranked, though not completely eliminate the problem, aswell as you would still have the wintrader problem, but it is a start. Let F2P/Preferred play ranked Whether this be through just letting them have 5 free ranked matches a week, or making the warzone passes let you play ranked, there needs to be some way for ranked to be accessible to free to play/preferred players, because the game mode needs more people playing it New Warzones Obviously, most pvpers want to see a new warzone in some capacity, however this point would be heavily debated as to the design of the new map. Make Valor mean something again Whether this is requiring a certain valor to wear the pvp gear, or something else, i think valor should mean something again when it comes to PvP Seperate rewards for team ranked Add in new rewards for team ranked that incentivize people to play it, of course this would require increased policing of wintrading in team ranked, which we all know already was not very well policed, so this idea would not work out unless bioware is willing to take more of a stand against wintraders 8v8 Huttball League? Huttball is a great idea for a warzone and a great game mode would be something where you could have 8v8 ranked huttball only, however, this is dependent on population, and definitely couldn't be done in the games current state, considering how low the PvP population already is. However, this could be a viable idea if the game gains players in the future Make the SWTOR twitch stream better The twitch stream can sort of be thought of as the face of your game, and it needs to be improved. At this current time, the community team that does the stream knows what they're talking about on paper, but they don't execute in the game. They need to bring on developers or players who know what they're doing in game to do the gameplay for them while they answer questions Add a "practice" queue for team ranked Alot of teams will queue up for team ranked once, get stomped by one of the more experienced teams, get demoralized, and stop playing. This suggestion also relies on the games population increasing, however a team ranked queue with no rating involved where newer teams can just go and practice arenas before getting into the actual rating based games would help keep more active teams in the queue in the future. Queuing for ranked while in queue for regular warzones With the long ranked queues on some servers, i believe this would help a bit. Being able to q for ranked and regulars at the same time, and being able to be in the ranked queue while in a regular game, so that if it pops you can take it, would help out the speed of the ranked queues and encourage more players to queue for ranked. Commendation Conversion Rates The reg comms convert at a rate of 3 regular commendations to 1 ranked commendation, so why don't the ranked commendations convert back at a rate of 1 ranked commendation to 3 regular commendations, it only makes sense that way as you earned the ranked commendations Just want to end with these are only my small ideas for helping this game out, i'm sure you guys can come up with many more, or have criticisms of the ones i've posted, and feel free the reply to this post with those, as the purpose of this is just to get good ideas out there.

  10. Yes your hitpoints revert to normal and you lost all the damage the sorc did to you. EP did not absorb or change any of it. What do you think EP did for you exactly?
  11. You did loose the large percent of health, 6522 hp. you lost EXACTLY what you gained and the damage you take still translated to your normal hp.

Here are the cold hard numbers from your video: You start the fight at 21740 hp then you hit EP which gives you 6522 hp, bringing you to 28262 (It brings up 8479 but only gave you 6522 so it is probably a bug) this happens at 5 sec in the video. Next, at 9 sec, the fight starts with a 689 hit with EP your HP is 27573 (28262-689). Without EP your hp would be 21051 (your unbuffed hp 21740-689) Next, at 15 sec there is a 575 hit bringing your EP HP to 26998 (27573-575). Wthout EP your hp would have been 20476 (21051-575). At 20 sec Ep goes down and leaves you at 20497 (26998-6522= 20476 21hp variatiion which is probably a regen rate or possibly a proc of some kind) Total damage taken with EP 1264 (28262-26998) Total damage had you NOT burned EP 1264 (21740-20497= 1243 again we see that 21 hp difference which I admit Idon't know where it is coming from) So BY THE NUMBERS you see you gained nothing by burning it early
  13. For new juggs, don't listen to Hansuki. It does not work that way, it's been tested and he just wants to be right by being the last one to post. Listen to the people who are actually posting the data and backing up their claims. EP is a situational skill that may or may not pay off. My advise is if you're about to go down use it. It may be that extra little push that helps you survive either the battle or until a healer can get to you. Make us other Juggs proud!
  14. Thank you for posting the actual numbers. I didn't myself because a) it was self serving and means more if somebody else does it and b) I'm too lazy to do that extra legwork lol
