  1. UPDATE: Just completed the quest/achievement thanks to a kind soul's help! If anyone needs to do this achievement in the future, I'm sure I'll have no shortage of toons getting to that point that can help you out!
  2. I'm Imperial, but either faction is eligible. Have to be eligible to do the Arma Rasa recruitment quest for HK-55 on Odessen. When doing the quest and calibrating his targeting parameters, you target the player in your party to be shot. EDIT: Clarification of my reply.
  3. If anybody out there is doing the Arma Rasa quest to recruit HK-55, could you kindly keep me in mind? Been looking for someone to shoot me during that quest for the Simulated Meatbag achievement, but so far I've had no luck. Not sure if just bad timing for reaching numbers, or bad location (asking on Odessen because that just makes sense to me), or just too few people are eligible for Arma Rasa, or what. Thanks in advance! I'll try to remember to check back here, or give me a shout in game. Most of my time is spent on my Juggernaut, Seretun. Otherwise, I'm sleeping/working/showering/alt-hopping/playing Marvel's Spider-Man.
  4. Just in case any further proof is needed as to why the weekly needs to be adjusted or the heroic made possible... Currently trying to get help for the heroic. There are 6 people including myself in Section X. Even offering an additional 10k per person (that's 30k which effectively wipes out any credits I gain from the heroic and weekly combined), as well as having cleared everything solo up to the 2nd gate the requires 2 people to open up (yay for jumping to an enemy through the first barriers!), there's still not even 1 person biting, let alone 3 (or 2 for tricking the mechanics and doing it 3-man). Sorry BioWare, but if you were willing to change Czerka's weekly, there's no valid reason not to fix Section X's as well.
  5. No it doesn't. Done it with 2 juggernauts and a merc, with one of the juggs activating the core from the console location. Tricky but doable.
  6. Yes, I'm aware of being able to do it with 3, as my friend and I have done that several times. It's still a pain even to get that 3rd person at times.
  7. Same, legend here also, I just like running through the dailies areas to make money. May not be the fastest way to make money but it's reliable and feels more honest than placing cartel market items on the GTN. Doing just Black Hole, Sec X, Ilum, CZ-198, and Oricon, one of my toons made 600k. Easy money, if a bit tedious. Idk about the expansions. Depends how it's done, I guess. Maybe a 55 expansion for a "cleaning house" scenario since the Dread Masters would be defeated by this point. Doubt 60 is really needed though. Better rewards, or at least letting people know of the bonus credits, definitely. Not sure how many people are actually aware that Section X grants about 4k credits for doing the bonuses, and you get that same amount extra for each person in your group that completes the bonus, for a potential of about 16k. For one bonus mission. And I believe there are 3 on Imp side that are eligible for this bonus. Never understood why this wasn't continued with other dailies areas, and retrofitted into the older ones. Well, Black Hole I can understand since none of those missions have bonus objectives. Not on Imp side at least.
  8. Never had a problem with necros/necroing if it brings attention to an issue that needs attention. Exactly. I'd be okay with either of those alternatives as well. Just proves that there are multiple possible solutions to this problem. If it still is a problem. Idk. Going through Sec X again, going to try it to find out XD
  9. Going through dailies again, noticed that Czerka got adjusted to allow the completion of the weekly on a H2 quest instead of 2 FPs. Haven't tried yet, but has there been any change to Section X's H4? If not... why not? Between Czerka and Sec X, Czerka was the least in need of adjustment to allow completion of the weekly. Easy enough to get a group finder queue for the FPs since they're tactical, and I can solo them on a couple of my characters. Section X heroic I can clear all the trash easily, but I'm hampered by some BS mechanics? Maybe I didn't read the quest but is there a reason we have to temporarily disable the shields instead of... idk... blowing them apart? In addition to the mentioned change to this quest, another idea is to allow companions to do some of the activation. The functionality is there, they already can play fetch when you want them to harvest something. There's no reason they shouldn't be able to activate trivial mechanics like this. As someone who gets irritated by having incomplete quests just laying around, relying on 3 other people that may never show up to get the initial quest done to complete the weekly for this zone is a huge inconvenience that can be easily corrected with a few simple changes.
  10. Nexu. Reek. Hssiss. Young Krayt Dragon (so it's size-appropriate).
  11. Hopefully a fix on the relaxed vestments chest piece bug as well.
  12. A cool idea but how would you do the vanguard equivalent?
  13. I'd like to see some more customization options added. As someone who loves playing Miralukans, I'm a bit put off by their lack of mask options. Or at the very least, an option to re-colour them. That said, since the addition of the pack of human hairstyles, I fail to see why those same hairs tyles couldn't have been added to other races as well - and not just Miralukans, but Chiss, Mirialans, Purebloods, and hell, even cyborgs (which I still think shouldn't be a separate race, but rather a slider bar for all the other races). Please BioWare, make this happen?
  14. Been thinking about what new abilities could be added, if any at all, to the classes in a future expansion, if another such as Makeb were to happen (increased level cap, new content, etc.). I haven't thought in a whole lot of detail, so I haven't thought of ideas for new abilities for all classes, but I do have one idea for the Juggernaut/Guardian advanced class. The idea is fairly simple - an ability that causes the Guardian/Juggernaut to leap over his/her opponent and strike at them mid-air before landing behind them. If you need a visual representation, I refer you to Obi-wan fighting Maul after Qui-gon's defeat, after Maul gets kicked to the floor. This ability was also usable in the Jedi Knight games as well. This ability could have uses for both tank and DPS roles, at least in PvE (tank, most obviously, is a 180 degree turn of the enemy if the target needs to face away from the rest of the group; dps is simply doing more damage). The saber reflect ability that was added with RotHC I felt was geared more for tanks with minimal consideration for DPS applications in mind. Tanks can get use out of it in almost any situation, in solo PvE, group PvE, and PvP. DPS, on the other hand, don't have as much opportunity to use the ability in a group PvE environment, short of being daring and AoE taunting just to reflect 3 seconds' worth of blaster fire. The after effect could usually be quite problematic. So it usually doesn't get used by the DPS in PvE. Kind of a waste, in my opinion. This new ability could be a nice stylish change. The only issues I might see with this ability is when being used against rather large targets, or unique boss fights like the final boss of Asation. This isn't a thread just for juggies/guardians, of course. The above is just an example, and a side of slight annoyance with saber reflect lol. Other community members, please feel free to post your thoughts on this, either on the ability I described, or other ideas for abilities, Juggy/Guardian or otherwise. Thanks for reading
  15. Not so much the difficulty needs adjusting. Just the mechanic at the end of it. Should be able to use companions to activate them like you would a gathering node. Take it down to a 2 people requirement.
  16. Easy fix - restrict to accounts that aren't F2P. If IsSubscriber = 1 Allow Battlemaster/WarHero = TRUE If IsSubscriber = 0 Allow Battlemaster/WarHero = FALSE Sure it's a very simplified code, but the concept is already there, and the coding itself shouldn't be that much harder. So where's the issue?
  17. So, no removal of that stupid rank 60 requirement on crafted stuff, eh? Well isn't that just grand. It's not like it's purely cosmetic gear with absolutely zero benefit to PvPers or PvEers except for picking a look they like that doesn't look like the designers had a bad night of drinking before coming in to work or anything, right? ... What? You mean it IS purely cosmetic gear with absolutely zero benefit to PvPers or PvEers except for picking a look they like that doesn't look like the designers had a bad night of drinking before coming in to work? Oh. Okay. Well I shall leave BioWare to their crazed antics then. Side note, this doesn't really help to un-screw synthweavers or armormechs in any way. Those who actually bothered to spend the money on the schematics can craft the items, great, but the market for players that can and would buy them has just been cut down significantly because of such an asinine requirement on gear that has otherwise been out of the game for a year. Synthweavers and armormechs get a few cosmetic pieces that don't even look that great. Biochem? Sure, have some reusable medpacks, stims, and adrenals! Artifice, cybertech, and armstech? Go ahead, have the ability to craft hilts, barrels, enhancements, and mods and sell them for decent cash. Oh right, and your artificers can also make some decent money on those dyes you guys seem to love. And don't forget those grenades or ship upgrades! But we don't really like the people that can craft what could be iconic armor. We'll give them a few select items that are actually somewhat functional, with no ability to RE green and blue items into a custom schematic as a way to make up for the imbalance. And just to really bone you just that little bit more, we're throwing a PvP requirement on gear that otherwise is no different from any other custom gear. Just that it looks better. Sure, they'll LOVE that! *Apply Changes* /end rant maybe
  18. May or may not ever wear it, but I got it off my 3rd kill of the Acolyte of Fear. Now just killing the Acolyte until I see the actual rare spawn.
  19. Lol is this a serious post? I find Oricon to be one of the most fun daily quest areas so far. Leaps and bounds better than Makeb for sure. As far as the posts about difficulty with the tentacle boss... how? I have not yet lost the fight against that thing as either a melee or ranged class. It is beyond easy to beat on my DPS juggy, and I'm not even in Verpine gear. 1 stun. Still soloing it with no trouble. Either DPS juggy has some kind of advantage that other classes don't have, or a lot of people just need to re-evaluate their ability to play their class. The only difficulty I have with Oricon is the occasional attack from a Rep, or when soloing the Heroic. Which would be my own fault lol.
  20. If only TOR had been an M-rated game, this could make for a rather kinky and hot sex scene, regardless of same/opposite gender romances.
  21. Dimming, fading, dying hope. I am still hoping as I have 3 toons that are on indefinite hold until SGR is included with companions. A couple others I would LIKE to have involved in them but I play them regardless at this point.
  22. Forgot about this thread, lol... My vote goes to adaptive Battlemaster armor, without the valor 60 requirement.
  23. Meh. Most of the social gear looks awful and/or the same as other sets anyway. As for reputation gear, at least it applies across the entire legacy. The fact social doesn't yet kind of annoys me. Same with Valor. At the very least, having one character that's at least valor 60 should open up the use of the Valor 60 gear to all level 50 characters on that legacy. Not saying that a player should be able to make a new character and you have a level 1 toon that's already valor 87 or something like that; that's ridiculous. Let them start at no valor and earn the valor rank the same way as normal, for those that require some sense of virtual achievement. That way the people that have some kind of hard-on for PvP achievement can still have what they want, and the people that want to use the Valor 60 gear in a PvE setting can also get what they want.
  24. People earned the ability to use mounts by leveling to 25, or sprinting at 14. Then that got cheapened down to mount at 15 and sprint at 1. Perhaps the valor requirement should be cheapened as well? How about Valor 30? 35? Sounds at least remotely reasonable to me. Valor 60 for gear that can no longer be acquired except through crafting, however, is not quite so reasonable. Especially since people could be charging unfair prices on the pieces as it is.
  25. I actually agree with the OP. Or at the very least, let players who have achieved Valor 60 on at least 1 character unlock it either on a per character basis or across the entire legacy. Yes I know some of you feel it should be a status symbol, but some people I'm sure feel most of the lore armor that's been introduced through the Cartel Market should've been a status thing and just simply not been introduced in the first place, yet it has. The valor 60 gear is nothing more than cosmetic now, so I feel it should be treated as such, and be more easily attained. It's not like it hasn't happened before where something a player has worked hard to earn and unlock can be unlocked an easy way by someone else. Species unlocks are a prime example.
