  1. Very true. I am hoping for more information soon. There are too many questions right now.
  2. I got thinking, with the current event going on, what will happen after it is over? We were told that the side that wins shapes the galaxy. To what extent? Are we talking something along the lines of pure/corrupt worlds or something more extreme like peaceful/war-torn? Then there is the question of the companions. Will they be story based companions like the vanilla ones or just rewards?
  3. /signed I'm not that upset with the with the event. I will most likely be participating regardless but A lot of players, myself included, have a lot of hours in this game. Not letting all that progress count for this event is kind of annoying. Getting to level 50 with 8 characters on top of the other challenges within 3 months (I believe is the timeline for this event) is just insanity.
  4. Now I feel stupid. I didn't even see the code in that email. lol
  5. I have a feeling that he will be back. Looking at his info after he died I noticed it said "There seems to be no hope of rebuilding him." If he was dead for good, why not just say that there is no hope rather than there seems?
  6. I would have easily bought that version of Battlefront 3. Sure the beta for the Dice version was fun but it is lacking so much that it feels like buying a incomplete game. I don't want to spend $100+ for less content than the previous games.

  8. Since we don't know how much gear we will get at the start of the story, I would say it wouldn't hurt to upgrade. Better safe than sorry.
  9. Because I am tired of reading posts saying the game is dead or dying, I just want to say thank you Bioware for making this game. I have enjoyed it since launch and I am looking forward to seeing what you do next.
  10. I posted something about this a long time ago but I figured it was time to post it again. I think it would be coll to include a quest like the HK one, minus the item hunt, where your decisions create a custom companion. A character on either side gets a distress call from their ship. All they get is text at the start which leads them to a dying station or something of that sort. The companion would them be put together by decisions made by the character. -They could fix a terminal which reveals the comps gender by voice -A ship/station medical records would reveal the race -A locker would have a weapon for the comps class -Datapad recording left from a dead crewmate would reveal the lightside or darkside affiliation And all this could be done while solving puzzles, fighting corrupted droids or maybe even saving/killing the remaining crew. My thoughts would be that male and female have 1 voice actor each but have different personalities depending on affiliation. The faces and body structure could be random or set. At the end of the quest, there could be a bacta tank or something to change the companion if you don't like how they turned out.

  12. I'm not knocking that it is better to have both. I completely agree. What I am saying is why is there no option for those that already own Cartel to just buy Revan.
  13. That's right. I forgot about the discount for subs. Thanks for reminding me. Still, $20 for the two seems reasonable to me, but I would like a option for SoR at $10 or even $15.
  14. So Shadow of Revan has come out and I am looking forward to playing it but I wasn't expecting the final price to be $20. When the pre-order was up, I figured the price was for the two expansions and the bonus items. The price is still the same after its release. From what I can remember, the Cartel expansion cost $10 on release and later made free for subs. The $20 makes sense for a F2P or preferred user. Subs however already own the Cartel expansion one way or another. Why is there no option to just buy the Revan expansion?
  15. I am more up to believing that Revan is being controlled by the emperor or someone is posing as him. Even if Revan had fallen back to the dark side, it seems a little out of character. Of course Revan wanted to exterminate anyone with sith blood but at the same time, it is possible that it was still the emperor "guiding" him. On the other hand, the revanites had his "mask" from the quests on Dromund Kaas. Now this is just my thought but what if, after he is beaten by the imps, Revan disappears to recover and the emperor enters a new body and pretends to be Revan. Since he and Revan were in each others mind, he would be able to mimic him flawlessly. That way, under the guise of Revan, he can go forward with his plot to exterminate the galaxy with a already powerful force and gain ultimate power.
