  1. Please make it as it looks on preview.
  2. NO, sadly, they don`t. They are up against 100% bonus crafters with huge stockpiles AND tons of alts / guildies to replenish them. In a tight spot, personal tens and hundreds of millions can be used to buy mats, at whatever price they are on the GTN. Why? Because, at the end of the day, mathematics is mathematics and 10 players crafting will always beat 5 players crafting.
  3. So, you can hotfix in 24 hours crap that nobody gives a damn about, like Conquest fluff, but you can`t "hotfix" class CORE issues that date since 2012? Any official answer as to WHY it is taking this long and WHY isn`t it done yesterday?
  4. Also bought white / black dye, or black and white, whichever of the 2 that makes the actual coat white for one of my toons and also two secondary blacks for other 2. Bought all in good faith, based on preview window, only to see all of them bugged. I have invested money that I cannot use due to a bug in the game and that is not a nice thing to have. I am trying to lobby to have the spirit of my investment fixed - the actual piece of clothing; having failed that, I will start the support ticket to get my investment back, because it is unusable due to a bug in the game, so I AM entitled a full refund of my investment - either the actual dyes pulled from the pieces and put nicely into my inventory, or the value I bought them for at the time.
  5. Not fixed as of patch 2.8.2. We are almost at a full year of buggy PAID content.
  6. Here`s my reasoning to your question: I earned my gear; be it with only the time I took to earn the commendations, or with the effort in downing ops bosses and getting lucky on greed rolls. I am not circumventing anything, not written rule and not any "but but but you gotta" rule, as, for all accounts and purposes, I was there and actively earning my stuff. So, if I have 300 ultimate comms, I EARNED 300 ultimate comms, as they don`t grow in trees and neither they drop from the sky. I SHOULD be able to gear ANY toon I choose within my own legacy with them, since the time and effort was already spent. I don`t like working extra or spending more money simply because it is another character. This applies, but not limited, to gear, gear drops and generally anything any of my characters can own, via any type of "bound". It would make sense to separate them in a game that doesn`t encourage heavy alting, but that is not the case here.
  7. BoP is no longer relevant outside the one extra credit sink of pulling mods and putting them into the legacy gear to send them over. Sure, everybody and their mother would jump and explain how credit sinks are needed ( 1 ) and how this will force ninja looting ( 2 ) 1. In effect, for me to send already earned gear in the same time (either greed gear in some ops, or elite / ultimate comms gear) to one of my alts is either one extra full mods pull (30k or so per gear piece), or NONE, if I decide to use one legacy set for mirror classes, e.g: agent / scoundrel healer spec, or assassin / shadow tank. 2. As a result of the previous point, if I would want to ninja, I`d do it regardless, as I either have a too low cost anyway, or no cost whatsoever. But people just love to overinflate things and talk with their backsides, while the truth is simpler: it is either NO credit sink, or a too small one to outweigh the ease of using legacy storage between 16+ alts.
  8. For a limited time should be read as "this promotion is available only in a more or less short timeframe", as the other FAQ questions hint at permanent ownership, unless BW turned into a real swine, which I can`t find any supporting evidence yet; a small piggie, sure, but not full blown swine.
  9. At this particular time, with the current "new content" timings - REAL new content, not armors from packs - I do think housing is useless, as it brings nothing new from a gameplay point of view. Sure - RP Heaven, lots of eye candy, but, ultimately, useless from the "how many hours of new gameplay will I get out of this" perspective.
  10. http://i.imgur.com/kET1L.jpg They have had a long history of "completely different and new" - a proud tradition since 2011. OF COURSE. Otherwise, what other reason is there to add housing, which is just a glorified bigger ship? We already HAD houses, even if smaller ones. But now we need a cash sink - IRL cash sink. Past the 5 minutes of amazement when it`ll launch, everybody will realize it isn`t bringing anything new - just a more secluded "Fleet", or a "bigger ship" - no gameplay added whastoever, just a giant hole to sink your cash into.
  11. Weeklies for the ones that are fed up with the planets already. It is only fair to assume that by the 3rd alt on the same side you aren`t seeing anything new past the actual class story. Tactical ops or just ops for 15 - 50, now that`s an idea for fun leveling and what previous folks were complaining about - building skills.
  12. While you are technically correct, those were originally max level weeklies. And if you get to 50, ops are a valid choice for leveling also. I still think we need weeklies for 15 - 54 also.
  13. Which begs the question: Why should weeklies be exclusive to lvl 55? Why shouldn`t weeklies exist for xp for under 55? Really? But you do, with faceroll content that has you at 4 - 5 levels or higher and not even needing interrupts (the tragedy of some consular players and a certain point in their quest to 55 is simply precious)? So, you are better by doing story and whatever POSSIBLE other flashpoints than my powerleveled toon - using strictly KDY + Warzones, that spent one day practicing rotation on the dummy at 55 with Parsec open? You, sir, are deluded. You see, the speed at which we level is not important. It`s only if I want to know my character better or not that`s important - and that is based on the individual. Also, I can also argue that, for a casual player that takes 6 months to ding 55, he would have forgotten half the skills in his quickbars and their order, and I bet he / she can`t be fussed to spend 1 hour at the Fleet dummy to remember, when one hour is all he / she can dedicate during a day - so he / she will just play with whatever powerful skill he has, then wonder why people yell and kick.
  14. As of patch 2.8 still not fixed. When will it be fixed, Mr. Tait Watson? This is a CM item, or a REAL MONEY item, might I remind you. Am I to understand that I can spend real cash and get a faulty product / item?
  15. SOME work is better than NO work - good for rotations and awareness if anything. Also good for incidents like a guy not knowing he has an interrupt or what that interrupt is at Draxus, in 168 / 180 gear. Or tanks that couldn`t sink in their thick skulls that the weekly boss in SnV needs to face AWAY from the raid. However, your original question was answered. You don`t like the answer, that is your problem, not mine. We could also argue that NiM progression is just muscle memory and training monkeys in top gear, but then we`d need to provide proof that most of the servers have 5/5 NiM progression, which is slightly unrealistic. So work has its meaning - and work for gear is better than no work at all and a big mouth.
  16. Well, for a freshie, they would have needed to spend a modicum of time to earn some elites/ultis, or at the very least run the Oricon for entry gear, which would have gotten them into weeklies - if anything, acquire SOME skills, coming fresh from Cartoon Network leveling gameplay. Now every "story driven player" will come with an attitude and zero skills, then yell at the "elitists" because they wipe and they are starting to get pissed about 200k repair bills - "Hey! Stop being a bully! Bioware made the game this way so you MUST put up with me! You elitist, you! I have every right to be here in my bolstered blues and no knowledge of my class whatsoever, let alone being able to look past the bars for skills to interrupt or positioning!". Best idea would be to make the op as it is done now and queue it as a group, rather than roll the dice for ... entitled players.
  17. Extra ingame advantages for any arbitrary achievement are just silly. My vote is : hell no!
  18. And what PRACTICAL difference will it make? Subs will still ask for and feel entitled to better benefits, or there would be no point in paying a sub to begin with. BTW, PREMIUM sounds a lot more ... demeaning than Subscriber, just saying. And it`s not demeaning towards the other Premium players. Imagine little pauper kids banging on the walls of the Golf Club or watching a cake through the glass. But the bottom line still stands - regardless of the name, people that pay get and SHOULD get significantly better advantages. You know what would TRULY not hurt the game? All those mouthy freeloaders paying their 15.
  19. Add WOT offering a flat HALF xp and money for freeloaders. And that game is ALL ABOUT xp and money, nothing else. If I am to believe the first spots in that graph, this game should sell power, PLUS free ONLY UP TO lvl 14 (20 out of 80 is roughly 14 out of 55) AND give ONLY half xp and cash to freeloaders. Let`s make it happen, shall we? Since we like to quote other games, let`s quote games on both sides of the fence too. So, you qualify, as a free player, for free play up to lvl 14, with half xp and cash AND can end up ROFLSTOMPED in PvP by a wallet warrior with 2 +200 crystals at 55. A perfect world, I tell you. Oh, the one where I keep insisting that we only get what we pay for? That discussion might be? Because that is the main underline - we only get what we pay for and, if we don`t pay nothing, why should we have ANYTHING? And some folks seem to be too vocal about the quality of FREE things, instead of, you know, be grateful. Free is the norm, right? And bandwidth and dev wages are paid with FREEDOM coins, right?
  20. You are looking for integrity among some nobodies who`s only achievements come from pixels. They will only care about "pwning noobs / carebears / bads". They are so bad and averse to hard work that they need a fat wallet to do it. To them, that word means nothing. Also, those games INVITE you to spend money. This one FORCES you. All of them offer some reward for real cash. If forcing is not his thing, then he shouldn`t be here, or play those very free games he linked. He already thinks the sub is P2W. If this game will start selling +60 crystals it will probably double it`s revenue. The usual suspects will just flock the forums in disgust, only to spend small fortunes to gamble or buy some of them ingame. I know a certain vanguard that`s on the FIFTH page on PoT5 that would love to get his hands on some.
  21. I pointed 2 games for a reason - one is THE MMO, which has a free variant too, I`m told, while the other is the number 4 best making money game. As for one of the games on that list, Crossfire, that is a straight PAY TO WIN game: http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2014/01/20/crossfire-tencents-top-earning-free-to-play-game-youve-never-heard-of/ - and it is only the number one money making game.
