  1. Remove the Speeders but increase the speed of Sprint automatically to the level of your speeder licence. (I have seen NPCs run that fast and it does not look weird at all) Remove the companions from all 4 wings on the station but they are allowed only in the middle bar area and the VIP area too. Sensible, logical, acceptable.
  2. How about those blue schematics from the market? Can they become an orange?
  3. Can I create a piece of orange from a blue one, like those I learn from the crew skills trainer or from a schematic I buy from the market? Thanks
  4. Is it me or some of those end game gear sets (both pvp and pve) do not look particularly trooper-like? They look more like a glorified power ranger. Or some weird looking Gundam.
  5. Can we have some matching moddable wrist and waist gears for those social armours please? It looks a bit awkward with mixed gears on an otherwise matching set of armour. Wrists are some time not that bad but Waists can be a bit of a mismatch. For example, my Sorc is wearing a full set of Elegant dress but none of the waist option I have goes with the set - they are just too big. Alternative, can we have to option to hide the Waist and Wrist armours just like it is with the Head gear. Thanks
  6. I suppose I can romance them in turn then.
  7. Is it still possible to romance and marry both Vette and Jaesa? If so how? Thanks
  8. I thought there was the +Sprint speed legacy perk? Where did it go?
  9. Doing WZs is a bit of a grind. That is it. It does not change the fact that is can be fun some time and it certainly does not change the fact that we need more PvP content. But than I am hopeful. I am looking forward to more PvP content by the 9-month and 12-month marks.
  10. I have noticed that I drop a lot faster when being focused. It is VERY noticeable indeed. Nothing change, I still causally PuG my way through WZs on all three of my healers. I notice I die faster because as a healer I die a lot; and I am SO used to being focused. I can even tell whether I am being marked or not. So i have plenty of experience on how fast am I going die when dealing with X. I die a lot faster on my Op and Sorc but strangely the survivability of my Commando starts to show (still that does not negate the fact that the resource management of Commando/Merc needs a bit of work). And other strange thing I have noticed is that when I try to CC my attackers, most of the time, I can't even though their Resolve bar is not full. I often CC those saber users while trying to run out of LoS. I stun them, they keep following me. Getting a bit annoying now. So, I have to agree that DPS is getting rather overpowering all in a sudden. It makes their lives a lot easier. Meanwhile tanks and healers have to work harder just to do their jobs.
  11. Which class make the most of stealth? Or which class benefit more from it? Many thanks
  12. Granted, merc/commando healers may be the toughest out of the three. But in pvp, even though merc/commando may have the least down time, they still don't do as much heal as others.
  13. No, I just want to get some of the material back when I don't get an augment slot crit. But that does not matter any more when 1.3 is out.
  14. If the MVP votes can be translate to some form of tangible rewards, it is almost certain that it will be abused. But if it is just a vanity system, it does not really matter if it is there or not. I don't take it serious really. I can however offer some observations. I play mostly as a healer on Po5 these days - all three of them, both sides. I usually heal the most in a match and I don't get enough medals unfortunately because being a range healer cleverly positioning myself safely at a distance where I can contribute the most to the team is not something that merits a medal (I have another post for that). I get tons of MVP votes though. Almost guarantee 1 to 2 at least but sometimes 3 or more. I found it quite laughable until I was told that the more medals meant higher the rewards. I am not laughing any more. Now when I play as a tanker, I hardly contribute much other than throwing a guard on the nearest person or keep spamming taunt. My sin tank on Fatman is only Valor 18 but she has tons of medal with almost no MVPs. So I can be the star MVP while not being recognised for a medal or I can be a lazy bugger but sitting on top of the medal counts 7-8 times out of ten. How is it even possible...? By the way, I only vote when I see a tank who uses guard or scores very high on protection. Or when I am not healing, I vote for the highest healer normally. I don't normally vote for DPSer. Sorry. But I did feel compel to vote for my guild main DPSer for a while against my will. That's why I did not take the MVP system seriously.
  15. There are quite a few design flaws the Fleets. I am totally for the view of removing it all together (well, to be precise, move its functionalities to each of the capital cities) But lets stay on topic in here. No, we really do not need speeder in the Fleets. It is silly to say the least. For instance, why there is a big fly car on top on me while I am collecting my mail (and I can't see the mail box)? Is there a major road traffic accident involving multiple vehicles crashing into a WZ terminal? It might be some continence left over during the development phase but no one cared to remove it at the end. I agree to the suggestions that to make everyone run faster and to lower the cap on each Fleet. Once the LFG function is in place and when more people start to use the cross zones chat function (i.e. the LFG channel on Fatman), you don't need that many people in front of you in the same zone. The Fleets are really not that big. They feel big though but that is because of their unfriendly design: a roundabout. There is nothing wrong with a roundabout but when every wing looks almost identical, it can be really confusing. I still get lost once in a while. The worst thing is that the layout of the Fleets from either sides are not the same. I am used to go that way to the GTN on the Imperial side; but on the Republic side, hmmm... wait, where is it again? I am here to play Star Wars; not hide and seek for god's sake!
  16. I only have one lv50 so far but more are on their way. I pvp a lot on WZs. Even though the exp is not great, I ended up outlevelling my class story all the time. One of the many annoyances I have with doing WZ is that: there is only one set of terminals. Why can it be more? Why I must stop by the station? I know I don't need it but I do appreciate that little bit of extra reward for completing a Daily. If there is a war going on, I am sure there will be terminals everywhere calling able bodies to arms. Why can every spaceports have one? The spaceship has a terminal right next to the pilot seat to call you to join a space fight. Why can't there be one to call you to join the war effort in a WZ? Then send the reward by mail or I can go and collect it at the nearest spaceport.
  17. Agreed. Structure and purposel are the key. Those are sorely missing at the moment.
  18. In Warhammer Online, I felt that I was constantly at war with the opposing faction. Everything I did count towards a grand score that dictated which side was winning that war. In Star Wars, I do not have that feeling at all. WZs is just like a friendly tennis match. The class stories and the planet stories are set up against the backdrop of a galactic war between the two sides. But once the cut scene is over, everything remains the same as when you first set foot on that planet. There is no general sense my side is winning, haa haa! It does not feel engaging. After all, Star Wars is just some pretty graphic borrowing the theme from a famous franchise. Don't get me wrong: I still like the game. But eventually it has to step up to a new level in community building. Players have to have some sense of significant in what they are doing in-game, other than just gathering around in the fleets doing very similar activities day in day out. Rewards are mostly for oneself; there is no major contribution to the community at large. That excitement of being rewarded will soon being taken over by the novelty from another game. This may have been happening already. I did love Warhammer. If it had the same vigour in development as Star Wars does, it would be my perfect game. So if Star Wars can give its players a sense that they are really needed in winning a war for their choose fraction, a sense that they are important in a warring community, I am sure it will do very well in keeping its players.
  19. Nice. A sub-zone in the capitals - just like Blackhole to Corelia. But I would add that a direct flight to the spaceport, or even to the spaceships, is most certainly needed. As to the Fleets, I think it can be kept for historical sake. May be keep it for social events or seasonal events. But I don't think separating the pvpers from the rest is a good idea.
  20. I should have been clearer: medal farm. Most of the time, the game is still to early to call but 3 to 4 people already making themselves home on a capped node while others are working hard to flip another one.
  21. Move the facilities in the Fleets gradually to the capitals and let the people decide where to gather. New features are to be added in the capitals too - like the Legacy Vendors. At least people can choose. This finally give some meanings back to being a capital city other than just another levelling zone which you will leave as soon as you are done there.
  22. Increasing the radius of the objective certainly helps. But it still limits the diversity of playstyle. I have seen people deliberately (or sometimes accidentally) CC, pull or bait people off the objectives so others can click it more easily - like fighting away from the door in void star or further away from the turrets in Alderaan. This distraction and diversion tactic works rather well. By the way, on a side note: I have seen people camping a capped node just to get more medals. They come out on top of everyone else on the score. That annoys me too.
  23. No, the I can't hide behind a pillar light. The one people can track exactly where you are.
  24. That is what a capital cities are for. The HQs of most classes are there. There are the political hub too in most story lines. The Fleets just technical hubs without it being tied up with the rest of the stories. It feels isolated being in there. They are busy social hubs nonetheless but it is because unfortunately you have to be there. They are more like a glorified docking station. It does not feel like being in the Star Wars universe once you are there. There is no theme or characters inside the Fleets. The Fleets are like supermarkets, office buildings or shopping malls - they have stuff in them and you have to stop by in there once in a while. You do meet your friends there when they are doing their business there - just as you do. But you don't normally have a good time inside. It is just routine - and it is what is becoming of it once you are inside the Fleets. London, New York, Paris or Tokyo are capital cities where people would gladly be there just because of what they are. They have their unique atmospheres and characters. You do see the histories or England, the US, France and Japan in there. But you don't look for the history in a supermarket, do you? Often you hear people say shopping malls are all the same; but how many times do you hear people say Londons are all the same? Having the social hub centralised in the capital cities will make it more Star Warsy. To be fair, there are a lot of common facilities on both the capital cities and the Fleets - except for the terminals and those bonus story giving NPCs. Moving them to the capitals are easy.
