Hi Returning OLD player [all be it 2 months to early for 7.0] And I wanted to share my new laptop and Swtor launcher from Steam install experience To help anyone else with steam and swtor launch issues New laptop [windows 10] fully patched Made sure Nvidia drivers all updated Installed Steam and downloaded Swtor all NP and quick Click PLAY game or use shortcut on desktop and I get Launcher errors bars **Error… restart launcher and **steam is offline error messages I read a lot about launcher usual Swtor fixes [ run as admin / compatibility mode XP sp3] etc. But nothing worked…. So I looked back at my fresh installs for poss. Issues To solve steam launcher issues from this fresh install I went to Apps & features in windows 10 [type Apps in search bar] Scroll down and look for all Microsoft Visual C++ xxxx Redistributable xxxx Click each in turn and where available click MODIFY and then click REPAIR If she’s for reboot - remember where got to nd reboot then continue until all are done. REBOOT Launch Steam From library click PLAY and launcher opens no errors Hope this helps anyone in a similar situation or has issues launching from Steam

Physical Key from launch has just started to fail.. [Pressing so hard can feel it crushing inside ] Pretty impressed lasted this length of time EA... Have to say was relatively simple to switch over to the SWTOR authenticater Login website My Account Remove security key * Log out * download app on iphone Log back in and go to my account Security key add - got device id to enter in to iphone app Added authenticater ok logged out everything re-logged in to website and could see security key linked to account reloaded launcher and logged in game ok

Hi Hybrids are out and now its about 'cookie clutter' professions...choose one and then pick a few utilities.. Some very PVP utilities choices are obvious - so most PVE players pick same utilities recommended in below guides... I really don't get what Devs are doing to packs and swtors cartel market.... I find it a real shame and IMO a 'VERY' bad game model, that the casual player doesn't have any way to progress reputation from older packs except, if lucky can source some very expensive packs from GTN? To close off not only items from players new and old in game (because no way to realistically raise rep now) but to deny the grind and access to how you obtain them.... To me is plain madness I really don't get it... I use to spend money on packs now and again but no longer buy 'any' cartel coins to spend on packs due to the state of cartel packs... At least make an in game or cartel method to obtain all rep or remove rep restrictions on items,,,,

Really LOVING Strongholds, THANK YOU for all your hard work... We see and read 'Soooo' many negative threads and forum cryers all the time. I thought i would post a positive thread. Yes, some things can be better, [NPC's - in-animate some - to raise 25 limit would be good]. But all in all, overall, I for one, 'AM LOVING IT' and wanted to say thanks. ./salute

TOTALY AGREE ^^^^ i have an empty Tat starport with no one or pets in it now Maxed out on first floor first 2 rooms Seriously low restriction - i don't mind if you, in-animate some npc's, but the scenes decors (like cantina bar) Should come with one that does not count toward silly low total..... Can't tell you how much this disappoints me

NO jets come out of the New Contract Hunters chestguard (not the vest - talking here chest with a back pack) I can't tell you how excited I was to work to get this suit, and now how it really, REALLY 'bothers me' it has no working jet pack? Hope this is fixed asap - as a BH with a jet pack but uses rubbish boots animation ....Well,,,, 2. Helmets just don't colour right (especialy new champ level when preview) with this suit? They are much brighter to me when colour linked to this suit - all I tried look same (might be my graphics but I think not, as only helmets with this suit effected) PLEASE, PLEASE address these issues, Thanks for reading... What if your ini doesnt have a line AllowColorRemapping? How do i disable them?

Its laggy as hell but seems like WILL be fun once server performance issues resolved,,,

1. Mr Dev - You made us a melee class but we have no closer? Can you explain your thinking behind this clear imbalance to our profession, compared to other melee DPS? 2. Mrs Dev - Can you explain why our class doesn't have same costs or timers as other classes [i.E PT has 15% armor for 2 points and jugg for 1 only - Dots compared to say sniper are not similar dps - snipers hit harder last longer etc] 3. Master Dev - Does any dev play a PT as main pvp / pve character of choice? If so please ask them how happy they are with NO survivability....

Turncoat Armor under collections is unable to transfer a copy and also unable to unlock for all alt's characters on account??? Just go to cartel to buy icon is available ?

CHARACTER, Guild, or Legacy name change > "Get one per month" by being a subscriber, and as YOU said on the website ages ago.... Cartel Item if want to do more than once for Sub players and available to F2P players for X coins.... Come on DEVS this is a great community feature that ALOT of players in every MMO want....
