TBH if you're having problems with money you'll actually find selling companion gifts generates huge money. I dont PvE but I managed to make 2 mil just selling them. all 3 professions are generating them like no tomorrow and its a tidy little profit. Also consider how many people are going to be making alts due to the legacy changes. its easy money.

Tbh I really dont care when it goes down, I have heaps of other stuff I can do which having down time helps me accomplish. However what really frustrates me is the fact the dailies rest at 10pm and with the down time usually starting at 5-6pm going for 4 hours means I am unable to complete 1 daily when it comes back on. So I miss out on both PvP, Daily commendations and at least 100k+ gold. while not game breaking its annoying as hell to be constantly put behind everyone else who can actually play during the to finish that crap but because I work a 9-5 job I get screwed over. Simple fix would be change the daily reset times to midnight.

So with all the massive changes coming in 1.3 how come no update on keybinds? I am really happy I can transfer my UI over from one character to another but setting up the Keybinds is like shaving with a spoon. Would love to see an update that keybinds will carry over when you load a UI to another toon.

BW great work on all the stuff you're doing and really happy to hear that you guys are trying to do stuff to bring the game into the right direction. However I have a concern about the level cap increase that was announced and believe that the game is a little 'young' still to consider this. From my experiences of level caps they have always been associated with a game expansion which generally means 'heaps of new contents'. this usually means, multiple new fp's and a few new op's, more wz's, and more planets. Now some people might disagree and or flame but really imo a level cap is not needed. What is needed is for you to fix the current pvp and open world pvp that is plaguing this game, create more sever events, add another maybe one more op's but a couple more fp's and keep level cap out until an actual expansion is released that incorporates heaps of new content. If you release a level cap to soon with limited content you will 'break the game'. People will be over geared for all the other op's and fp's and trading 3 op's for 1 new one that accommodates the level cap is a bad design. Now I know its only announced and that you plan on doing it at some point but 'think' about the 'risk' involved to the current content should you do that without the appropriate content to back it up. Personally I would rather you fix Ilum than actually bring out another planet. Happy to hear everyone's thoughts on this though.

@ all calling the OP a troll, remember he is justified as a casual PvP. That can mean he backpedals and keyboard turns which compared to someone who uses keybinds and mouse movements is at a disadvantage. However this should not stop him from enjoy PvP and while he may not get as many medals as a non clicker pvper he should get some. Please lets keep this civil and help someone who may need to understand pvp a bit more rather than just flaming him. @OP - you shouldn't come on here venting that BW is at fault for your shortcomings. Instead you really should ask how to improve pvping as an inexperianced player who is a clicker (assuming you're a clicker) etc. This will help in the long run for your enjoyment of the game.

Not sure why the people you play with scold you for sitting on a cap, all you need to do is say to the other person who is with you to go fight you will defend and 9/10 times they go off to fight. I've never had a problem with that before, and if you are forced to attack people instead you may consider that 1v1 is actually not a good idea. Try picking your targets i.e. ones that are getting beat up on by others and try for the killing blow. You shouldn't be the first to jump into a fight either if you're so squishy. let the tanks that jump in take the hits and follow up with focus fire with others. If you're a tank put guard on a healer and its an easy 3 medals. I just dont believe its BW's fault for you not being able to get a medal when its so easy to get one. Understand you have gear issues but have you thought about buying recruit gear?

No offence but how is being 2 shotted contributing to help your team? Why not sit at a capped spot to get the medal then head off after? If you're unable to do any damage to the other team would it not be better to let someone who can be off doing the damage rather than sitting back? By sitting behind and defending not only do you get medals you actually help your team out. You kinda defeated your own argument with what you said.

Seriously that announcer on Novare Coast is plain annoying. he sounds like a broken record over and over and over again. Please for the love of god stop him from saying 'OUR BUNKER IS TAKING DMG" It hurts my ears and is mentally dmging me.

Actually that being invisible and hitting someone is not hacking all the time, its a bug. As a sent it usually happens if I Force Cloak at the same time as being killed. My character will remain invisible for the rest of the match and will only show the glow sticks he has.

I know people would prefer dual spec but I was just pointing out that it probably wont happen due to field respecing now being available. However if the field respec allowed us to store another spec(s) that would be a different matter. would be happy to pay a fee to change (Has to not increase in price and I think 5k is fair). Thats how the field respec should work. Either the ability to reset skill points or the abililty to go to a pre-defined spec already stored. pay to open a new slot up to 3 slots or something like that.

Better by who's standard? It really comes down to the player who is playing them. I dont think anyone could tell you who is better and have solid actual proof.

And a perfectly wonderful conversation results in talk being thrown around defensive CD's for a Mara/Sent again. @OP - Rage is great, hands down it does some awesome damage but is situational. While yes it is a one trick pony i.e. you build charges that allow your smash to crit for a large amount its meant to destroy people in groups. If you take 3 Mara/Sents jumping into a group of 5 all having full charges and all doing smash each one can crit upwards to 5k plus on all 5 people. So in essence you have just smashed 5 people anywhere between 10-15k each. It’s a healers nightmare really. That said, 1v1 its not as good as other specs and on most maps you’ll be hard pressed to actually get 5 people in a clump. Anni gives more durability, dots that can crit for 2k and heal. Anni is good in any situation where Rage is only situational.

why would you have mutlispec if you can change it in the field with that respec bot?

Personally I agree with this because their defensive CD's have been the same always, however I am happy to put in tweaks as the no end of QQ people would give saying they're not balanced etc.... I'm playing the game of compromise. However this thread is designed to say, instead of nerf this, lets buff a that to being more balanced.

First let me clarify, Mara/Sents are not broken, they are not OP, they are in fact extremely balanced with the exception that their defensive cd's may need tweaks. What is broken in this game are the other classes which only effect some builds. Let me start with the most broken class – Merc/Commando. Since the patch 1.2 they have been broken, with no way to actually remove melee or defend at all from any class they go down faster fly’s on s*#t. What could be done to tweak them is give their melee ability (stock strike) an auto knockback (2m is sufficient). Its pointless to be pigeon holed into actually speccing for it, they need it and all trees for this spec should receive it. Yes this might make the healer class a little OP’d but it really would make a difference to helping this class out. The 2 dps trees need a buff but the Gunnery tree (Trooper name) needs it more. Personally I had 0 problem with Grav/Rocket spamming pre 1.2 and the dmg they did was fine in my books. For being a class that can be shut down so easily it was warranted. Sorc – Healing class needs a tweak, they have a heap of channelled abilities and go down pretty quick if they get focused. Idk if this would would work but im sure it would help a heap; give them an ability that gives a small dmg negation of say 10% for the next 10-15 attacks on a cd of 30-45 seconds (only usable on yourself). I would enjoy seeing posts by people on how to improve their class instead of calling for nerf this or that which is what we want BW to stay away from.

Working as intended and it actually works really well. full resolve will stop all stuns and knockbacks but will still allow slows and roots. this allows you to play some defensive CD's or in huttball pass the ball.

TOR should go the way of price drop. 10 bucks a month with some vanity RMT's. Really how hard would it be to impliment those changes and people are more likely to stay and justify $7.50 - $10 a month. With the introduction of Social gear you can have RMT's for all the wonderful Social gear which can tie into social gear levels. plays that have social x should be allowed to buy a darth vader suit etc. That would keep TOR alive for awhile
