On my Sorc, I pop a shield up on Khem Val just before I go into a room, and the timer doesn't tick down while in the cut scene, so once the fight starts, he is shielded, and I can send him off immediately to pew pew the boss. It is rather a cool mechanic and glad BW allows it, because it lets you prepare for those end fights right after a cut scene.

We don't want a WoW-clone, or any other MMO clone, becuase that old standard is dead and beating. I like that BW is actually doing something different to break away from the mold.

Makes PVP completely even. No one has any advantage other than the actual skill of the player. Oh I can't wait to hear the whining when noobs get pwned, and they try to blame it on the other guy having better gear. Lmao

OP. The game has barely been out a month. Sure there will be new planets (one coming in march) but as for playable races. I wouldn't expect any until the first expansion, which is easily 1.5-2 years away from now.

Actually GW2 is going to be amazing. Check out the videos for it that are out there. I'm not a fanboi, I hated the original GW with a passion, but this one doesn't look bad, in fact it looks like it could be revolutionary.

This. With no sub I will play it AND swtor, and will probably be playing D3 as well as it comes out this year, and probably SC2 expansion. Having other games coming out that have no sub is actually a good thing, because people don't need to make a choice on which one they can pay for.

They will never do this, because it would stop people from playing alts, which would make them play less, which would mean less subs.

Just skip entire planets like I did OP. I've skipped Nar Shadda and Alderaan because I space mission and PVP so much. It will make it great for alts, because I will have two entirely new planets to go through the next time around, meaning I can skip other planets if I choose to, or do less PVP/space missions and see them all. It is all about replayability, and that is why the XP is so easy to get in so many places OP and I love it! :D :D

I'm playing this game for the story, so I loved making another toon. I actually have 5 chars ranging from 12 to 48, with three on rep side and 2 on emp. I love the Trooper!

Make a Rep char, and you will see the difference, even loading into the starting planet, but especially once you get to Coruscant

How populated your side of the sever is (aka Emp or Rep) determines how slow/fast you load. I load in about 10 seconds on our Rep side, because there are like 1/3 the number of Rep to Emp, and on my Emp char, it takes about a half minute to load into a planet/fleet. Nothing you can really do to change that. Now if your loading time is in the couple of minute timeframe, like it is for some of the people posting on the forums, then the problem is entirely your computer, and there is a number of things that could cause it, but since that isn't your issue here, cuz your loading time is normal, I won't go into it.

Damage Meters are not needed in a game that is as easy as SWTOR is. There is no care to be World First, because none of the content is challenging. A PuG can beat nightmare mode on the first day, and tha tis fine, becuase this game is about the story, not the end-game. If people want to race the Koreans to be the first to kill something, then by all means leave this game and play that other game.

Agreed. Companies need to stop nerfing the PVE aspects of a class because of PVP. If PVP is imbalanced, then make the changes only apply in PVP areas, and leave it the way it is for PVE. This is what GW2 is doing, and I can't wait. Finally my PVE will not be neutered just because the company caves to the whiners on the forums.
