Transitioning from rage to defeatist

I've been annoyed most of the day, frustrated really, as I haven't gotten the opportunity to level with my guild and my RL friends. But now it's pretty much over and done. Thrill of release is gone and there isn't any point. From this moment on it's just about rolling up in a game that's already out and playing catchup.

The games launch has in fact been ruined for me. My guildmates will be 50 when I get in. So what ever, screw it. No point in being mad about anything other than getting excited for release.

Waaaaaaaaaaaah

First World Problems of the entitled. Generation Gimme at its finest.

You're absolutely correct. I should keep being pissed off. Thanks for the support. I mean I've seen you trolling all day long with your 2009 registration date, that kind of fanboy drive can't be overlooked! Quite inspirational.

And this is where Bioware truly failed. By withholding information and failing to respond, they allow their forum cronies to feast on anybody with a negative opinion. They allow these people to insult and generally harass anybody who doesn't fall into the 'this is fine' line, calling them impatient babies and entitled brats because they expressed their dislike of the process. Bravo guys, you're doing great at your self-appointed jobs of company forum ogres.

As for the failure... Bioware has allowed it's community to be divided by this. They allow a civil war on the forums that, for me at least, has rapidly sucked the joy out of this launch (and yes, the servers are open to at least some of the public and it's not beta, so it's a launch). I spent the day refreshing the forums, looking for any info that might tell me when I might get in, but all I really did was wade through a bunch of snarky posts by people telling other people that they should feel privileged to even be allowed in sometime before the 20th, let alone be upset that there was no information. Again, great job of forum policing there folks. I'm sure Bioware appreciates your diligent work, and I know I appreciate you showing me what this community is really like.

I haven't been trolling and I have a November 2011 join date. I agree 100% with him.

You should write a book, that is some quality emo material.
