arcaspiff Posted December 31, 2011 Share Posted December 31, 2011 Just hit 30, and was shield tech, kinda happy with it, it makes for a great tank in flashpoints which i love, but questing seems a lil on the slow side sometimes. I was looking at pyro tech, and it looks pretty fun. Especially for PvP, which i understand it is geared towards. Now If i were to mess with Pyrotech, would it still be viable for pve at all? Jhericho Posted December 31, 2011 Share Posted December 31, 2011 (edited) I've just respeced from shield to pyro at lvl 45 and I wish I had done it sooner. Its a lot of fun in PVE (a bit too squishy in PVP for full pyro build for my taste) and I've found I can still tank heroics if I switch back to ion cylinder. Currently I am level 37 and rolling people. As it stands I can interrupt healers consistently to make them way easier to take down. My dots can be applied easily to an entire team and whenever a melee class comes at me I can rock them due to my close up skills.
