AerynTano
Hi, i'm new to swtor. I'm currently lvl 41 and i've only just completed Balmorra, being a higher lvl doesn't really bother me because i know you get scaled down. But will my higher level effect my class story once i reach the lvls of the expansions? Say i reach lvl 50 or lvl 75, will the game force me forward in the class story-- skipping older story content? (I ask because WoW does something similar, so maybe swtor does also?). Perhaps i'd be better off 'freezing' exp gains until the story catches up with my lvl, if that's possible? Any recs appreciated
LD_Little_Dragon
Your level won't change the story at all. It will make combat mulch easier and your class rewards pretty much useless to you for gearing (they're based on original planet levels, not your actual level) but that's about it for drawbacks. There's even a store item (master's datacron) that is designed to put you at max level and still be able to run your class story.
