Problems with Spectrum Internet connection to the new cloud Zayo/DataBank datacenters

Title pretty much sums it up, I use Spectrum Internet as do a few friends in town and we've all had persistent issues connecting to the new cloud servers hosted by Zayo. The IP of the culprit seems to be

65.125.28.191

and

ae6.cs4.ord2.us.eth.zayo.com

and

ae3.cs.lga5.us.eth.zayo.com

which is probably a Zayo entry address for some kind of DDOS protection (pure guess just from the last 8 years working in other datacenters, not a specialist so don't flame me), a lot of random packets fail at that IP and it's causing typical packet loss symptoms in the game client.

Restarting router doesn't fix, no issues with any other connections to the internet including other gaming. Switching over to mobile data hotspot through my phone and the problem is nonexistent, same with switching to another ISP. Seems to be some kind of issue directly between Spectrum and Zayo but the packet loss appears to be occurring on the Zayo end at the final few hops which is likely inside the datacenter.

These issues have been persistent for months (EDIT: about two months), and my local friends playing SWTOR have the same issue, curious to see if any other Spectrum Internet customers in the pacific northwest or elsewhere are also experiencing this issue.

if you are seeing packet loss just at that one hop in a pingplot and that loss is not appearing on every hop after that one , it can be ignored the packet loss will be by design in dropping icmp packets in the router config

If there is no packet loss at the final hop destination, all other packet loss seen can be ignored

We are having the same issue with Spectrum Fiber, in the Southern Oregon/Northern Calif as well. It has been an off/on issue for several days and it is getting worse. Currently, Server drops are now every few min. Usually we get Server hang a few hours before the server disconnects, then the launcher fails for a few hours before the process starts over again.

The issue is it seems to only affect Spectrum (Charter Internet) customers in my region. Switching ISP and the loss is gone.

Also, this packet loss is only happening on the final few hops, everything up to the Zayo data centers (who hosts SWTOR) has no loss.
