The sith lady in the Taris (Imperial) storyline brags about almost having enough pelts for a coat. It's not limited to Imperials either. The Hutts do the same type of thing to the Evoki on starter-world Hutta, and follow up on it in the republic side world-story on Nar Shaddaa. The dark side is the dark side for a reason.
