Corso Riggs: Can I get rid of him?

I have been scouring the internet for a way to get rid of Corso Riggs, but all the threads are really old and seem pretty hopeless. He is REALLY creeping me out and I want him gone. Like accidentally shot out an airlock gone or left on some backwater planet so he can white knight all over the local women.

 

I turned him down, want nothing to do with him and he does not seem to understand that. Giving me massive creeper vibes and it's making Smuggler really frustrating to play.

 

Is there any way to get him to go away?

Or, if I start over as Smuggler and tell him to buzz off from the start, will that put a stop to it?

You can't get rid of him. The class companions will join you, and stay with you, no matter what. (Until the Knights expansions anyway).

 

What you can do is leave Corso in the ship (once you get it) and just never talk to him. Use the ship's droid as your companion until you get one you like better. Alternatively you can take Corso along with you while you flirt/sleep with every NPC you can .

 

Although if you think Corso is bad, wait until you meet the Knight's sleezy creeper companion Doc. Doc even has the 70s pornstach to match his personality.
