I have tried it a few times ... but my last gmod experience ending up with this. I was driving a speeder ... went around the corner a bit too quickly and killed four people.

Goodbye all

 

Time to do other things with life. Last Saturday I went and watched a beaututiful beach sunset and took pictures of golden hour. It was so relaxing. I'm done with hoping and waiting. Jedi Under Siege was the end for me. I tried to give it a go, even spent weeks struggling thru bugged boss fights for gear and playing a mediocre storyline (that I now just space bar thru).

 

I have voiced my disgust at how Theron has been handled ever since Crisis in Umbara. It just keeps getting worse. The opening for JUS was the final nail in the coffin for me. If they come out with good content, and by that I mean bring back Theron thru story again along with including our other companions they killed off, then I'll be back. By good content meaning I don't want some cruddy hug from him while Lana-mancers get multiple love scenes. I want a story that makes sense like Theron being the main one to contact Jonas. He is the better spy after all (quoting him from Iokath). And so on....

Hopefully 6.0 will pull a rabbit out of the hat and give us some decent story content to enjoy and bring people back for at least awhile. It won't be much longer until the SWtOR Community Cantina in Chicago. If they are smart they will give a us really meaty description of what's to come and not the traditional vagueness. Too many people are holding on by a thread or leaving right now.

I think I have about a week left on my sub, so I might post if the spirit strikes me, but then I'll be gone too as you know. They don't respect us when we cling and hang on hoping for better, maybe they'll do something if a significant chunk of us leave and take our money with us (not holding my breath). I hope you told them all this in your unsub reasons.

This is pretty much how i feel right now.

I've 19 days of sub left, then i'll turn silent too, i'll keep playing as i'm in the middle of recording my 8 main characters's playthrough, but as 6 of them are already at lvl 70 and the other 2 are at 68, i don't really need to be subed anymore to do what i'm doing...

And i'm really not sure i'll be interested in the future story content if among all the companions we have, all my characters are interacting with only 1 of them, who's not even a LI for any of them... Especially considering i've not killed any of them and the only one who died was Vette because i had no other choice than sacrifice her to keep Torian.

But i really wish i could've had Vector for all my characters though, he would've made more sense than Kaliyo for my mostly LS to neutral characters.

Well ... before that ... one of the police guys (dudes who make sure you're all behaving) left his tank unguarded ... which he left in my immediate vicinity. Normally I would respect the rules of the servers ... but ... when you have a tank ... things change!

Thank you. She had fun with that. Although, she has no interest in this game, she knows Theron Shan because of his voice. He does several games that she plays on PS4 and Xbox. I think I have the only kid who doesn't like Star Wars at all.

I wanted all companions but I reached my NPC limit in the stronghold so I had to pick certain ones. I just realized Bowdarr being so tall - should have put him in the back. It's like having that really tall person sit in front of you in a movie theatre

That would be nice. I did a wedding with my warrior and Quinn a couple of years ago on Voss. I went to that big building behind the cantina in Voss Ka. There is a Voss NPC that looks like he's talking and I think pacing. I just waited for the right moment to make it look like he was conducting the ceremony. But yea strongholds are nice as you can place your people there.

I used a barmaid personnel to officiate as she's animated and looks like she's speaking. I used a room in my empty Tatooine stronghold as I didn't want the hassle of having to pick up and redecorate my Rishi beach (plus I found out the hard way that using pick-up affects the whole stronghold). I originally tried the wedding outside but the lighting was terrible.

I would have liked a decoration for Satele Shan so she could be there (I sided with the empire so unfortunately Jace Malcolm is dead on my main but it would be nice to have his decoration for my characters who romanced Theron have JM alive). I shall have to do a Quinn wedding now for the Quinnmancers thread (well there's bugger all else to do in the game right now).

From what I read from the article and from what BW from has said in interviews said in the past, Austin or the Swtor team will have less involvement then before release, since 12 months before release they had literally nothing for Anthem and so most people had to get involve in that game. Plus with the fact they have already confirmed 6.0 to be announce at the cantina, Plus Charles has confirm voice recording for swtor has already started and he's in the recording studio. I would not go all doom and gloom Yet. However we will know next week at the cantina next Wednesday I think.
