Aeneas_Falco
I was running a character through SoR yesterday and ended up with smuggler tokens as loot. I believe every boss in the Korriban and Tython flashpoints dropped them. Do they now drop as loot in all flashpoints?

KurganNazzir
I think all bosses in OPs and FPs (what about world bosses?) have a chance to drop Smuggler and Kingpin Chips. I was using solo versions of Boarding Party, Foundry, and Taral V to grab tokens before going to the casino last night, that way I had enough right off the bat to do the 'play slots 10 times' quest. This works for me because I still have several characters who aren't 70 so they get xp and chips.
Aeneas_Falco
Someone was complaining in chat about that last night because they didn't want to do the event. Guess so.... I hope every one else in chat gave the complainer the third degree. I can understand not wanting to participate in the event. I can't understand wanting to inconvenience those who want to participate in it, by griping that the free tokens should be removed from loot. That's just being spiteful. dxlolman
I guess all of the bosses were planning to gamble a bit over on Nar Shaddaa. Even NCPs are addicted.

AscendingSky
I only did Ops yesterday, but this was a GREAT addition to loot!!! GREAT idea to add these in Bioware...thank you!!! I've let all my guildmates know, that if they want to run flashpoints or ops for gear or achievements or quests or whatever, now is the time! \o/
dr_mike
I hope every one else in chat gave the complainer the third degree. I;m tempted to make a comment about how few people now play this game and all they got was crickets but I believe he or she was just told to delete them and he or she was fine with that. cyrusramsey
Yeah.. huh, I got a bunch from an ops runs as well, and.. I've never participated in the casino event and don't feel a powerful drive to do so now, but I don't understand complaining about getting items that you can just destroy if they offend you that much. Theeko
What are the casino tokens for?
KurganNazzir
What sorts of payouts are we seeing for a flashpoint? I've had 0 to 5 drop per boss in solo FPs and ended with a total of 8 to 15 Smuggler's Chips per FP; extremely small sampling, though. The Kingpin's Chips have a lower drop rate, I got one off a boss in Taral V and 2 off a boss in one of my Boarding Party runs. Each boss seems to drop one type of chip only, but as I said my sampling is extremely small.
Aeneas_Falco
What are the casino tokens for? There are two casinos on Nar Shadaa, one for Republic characters and the other Imperial. In the casinos there are slot machines where you can spend the tokens. The objective is to win gold certificates which can then be spent at the event vendors to buy decorations, mounts, or cosmetic (orange) weapons or armor. The slot machines can also drop a mount or a Gamorrean compainion as a jackpot, though those two are more rare than the gold certificates. You can also buy tokens in the casinos. It's 2000 credits per Smuggler's token and 75,000 per kingpin. The two types of token are used on separate machines. The slot machines that take the Smuggler's tokens have a smaller chance to drop gold certificates than the Kingpin machines, but they can also drop Kingpin tokens as rewards. What most people do that buy tokens is just buying the cheaper Smuggler's tokens and using won Kingpin tokens to play the Kingpin machines. You spend a lot less credits chasing the rewards that way. The mount and Gamorrean companion that can drop in a jackpot are only obtainable from Kingpin machines.
