people going afk in war zones in match after match

This needs to be fixed.

 

There are some people who move out of the starting area to some hidden, out-of-the way area and just sit there afk, to get experience.

 

It ruins the match for everybody else because the side with the afk-er is outnumbered for the entire match.

 

There are people doing this all day, every day.

 

Please, Bioware, do something about this!

This is what happens when you reward this instanced WZ crapola over objective based world PvP. There should probably be some check that if you receive/inflict no damage, or heal no one, that you get no reward, and/or if you you stay in one spot without moving at least a few meters (to prevent afk running into a wall) that you get kicked from the WZ.

 

It ruins the match for everybody else because the side with the afk-er is outnumbered for the entire match.

 

So only one side does it?

never said that only one side does it.

but in any match where there are not exactly the same amount of people doing it on both sides, it severely unbalances the match.

That same player Carinne is still doing that. He's been reported so many times and everyone knows him by name and half the people leave the warfront when they see he's in it.

 

He always hides in the same place, so I almost want to make an imperial on the server so I can go look for him in each warzone and get him kicked back to the start zone over and over again.

Those are good recommendations. Also, there should be no rewards for losing. So the teams with many AFKers will start losing a lot, and when they get no points, they'll move to exploit something else.

probably a bit difficult to do in practice, though.

that really, really hurts people who are not in premades though.

On a low pop faction, mostly republic, there only needs to be a few afkers queuing to ruin most players pvp game after game.

 

Not many others are queuing so chances of getting an afk are high, and a stacked match results. This needs to be fixed quick.
