Def is rolled against accuracy to determine of the attack actually hits. This roll happens before the shield/crit roll. DPS at this point should be face rolling tanks 1 on 1 less they bad. which all that more funny when dps complains about tanks pullin/pushing them to there death as means to kill them. Talking pure tank stand point not fake tanks not tanks rolling dps gear, which i guess is why there is no PURE tanks in PVP these days.
