Though based on the light side response I think it's a matter of loyalty to the empire, or perhaps it's to do with killing them in general either way I find it stupid. ThanderSnB Posted May 29, 2022 Share Posted May 29, 2022 (edited) The light side choice is to wake them, not destroy them. Light side characters don't pre-emptively kill, only in self-defense. They would be hoping they could negotiate with the enemy to get them to stand down, but the end result is the same either due to bad writing or the developers not having the time to flesh out the consequences of each choice. There are a few other cases in the game with similar type of choice and similar end result (the enemies die either way).
