Just awesome RNG

Hmm so the OP thinks because he got from level 26-27 he is entitled to the best gear in the game? Interesting. It's rather sad the entitlement generation has infiltrated video games.

I find it interesting that:

a) You engage a classic logical fallacy (the OP did not say this, you're arguing against a straw man).

b) You are in favor of the RNG aspect of Galactic Command.

This isn't the first time I've seen a correlation between a lack of ability to think logically, and the defense of gear crate RNG.

I wonder if that's a requirement to being able to like the new system (in it's current incarnation)?

It's even more sad in you being unable to read, much less comprehend what I posted.

There are certain reasonable expectations in games when it comes to gearing, the time put in and what bw has created isn't reasonable.

Trying reading my post just above as well. It would do you good.

Oh no I read it correctly you are just upset not everyone shares your entitlement mentality.

You know, I'm pretty sure that I've had some major disagreements on god-knows-what in the past with you, but I won't argue with you here. At all.

Thanks BW. Spent the night ranking up from 26-27 and what do I have to show for my effort of running an OPs, Master FP and 2 uprisings?

16 jawa scrap and one orange shell with nothing in it. That was all.

I now, more that ever, dislike how bw has changed swtor into an online casino. All that time wasted for garbage.

But they said RNG is "exciting". Where you excited?

Yep by the couple of dozen posters still trying to scream death to RNG. Logic and facts are hard for them they just can't handle being the MINORITY...hey what if every level they gave you guys some type of participation trophy...would that make you feel warm and fuzzy inside

Heh... I don't think the raiding minority is alone in this in near future. People start to notice after a while. But again, as it doesn't concern you, it doesn't matter, right? Or if you are happy, then everyone else is wrong? Which one? I still don't understand why there can't be both systems available? Just have it Armor Piece Tokens for x-crates earned. Grinders will still go for higher rated set bonus armoring even if they'd have the NIM mod and enhancement.

Don't waste your time on him. He's been repeating that exact same message like 20 times at least now in various threads and acts like he's bringing facts to the table or relevant points. Neither of which is true.

I actually think they will end up going this route...but if they do we won't get points while in a ops and you can be sure the same ones screaming right now will be back here screaming again.

Only to you because you don't like the facts and truths that don't suit your agenda.

Incidentally, even though we've disagreed in the past, I've always enjoyed fencing with you because you present good arguments that require some thought to come up with a good response.

Well I really hope that will be enough to get those like you through this really tough time....

Furh, you should take notes from Tsillah. Your debate skills are lacking.

No they really are not. I understand you guys get all worked up when somebody puts you in your place with facts and truths like I do...I'm not worried I've taken away your safe space..

It seems a bit stupid to reply and say right back atcha, but there it is. :D Good sparring partners can be hard to find, but I also don't mind agreeing with you on things ;)

My comments are factually correct...so yep no straw man argument here...

1. The OP stated they received no wearable gear at all going from 26-27.

2. You were unable to come with a good response to the OP's statement.

3. Therefore you pretended the OP said this:

4. "He feels entitled to the best gear in the game because they went from 26-27."

5. And argued against that instead.

This is the very definition of a Straw Man fallacy.

It's a fact he was crying he didn't get a set piece (best gear) after gaining one level. I get it this is your guys safe space and when someone comes in and disrupts your safe space you resort to dismissing the facts they present.

You will find that in the previous system, it was also possible for you to get nothing from 1 night of ops and flashpoints.

In the previous system it was not possible for a group of 8 people to complete an operation and not get 5 BiS for that tier gear pieces. Now if people each get 1 crate it's basically guaranteed to be less than 5 and a very high possibility of it being 0.

So before 3 people would have a bad night gearwise and now it's likely 8 will have a bad night. I much preferred the odds before.
