List of bugs on PT/VG

Below is the list of bugs on Powertech and Vanguard classes that I have found out till now.

 

General:

- Jet Charge / Storm is bugged - when you press a skill it goes on cooldown but does not execute (specially in warzones - happens 2/5 times)

- Pressures Overrieds/Aim Extensions utilities don't work for Searing Wave and Firestorm / Ion Wave and Ion Storm - they still have 10m range instead of 30m range

 

Powertech Shield Tech:

- Flame Engine is bugged - it doesn't remove the heat from Firestorm

- Flame Engine sometimes pops but doesn't remove the cooldown from Firestorm

- Firestorm in comparison to Ion Storm has delyed damage and because of that you can miss targets

- Firestorm's animation (spot left on the ground) does not cover the damage cone)

 

Vanguard Shield Specialist:

- Pulse Engine is bugged - it doesn't remove the ammo from Ion Storm

- Pulse Engine sometimes pops randomly but doesn't remove the cooldown from Ion Storm

- Ion Storm in comparison to Firestorm does 50% less damage

 

Bioware devs I would like to see hot fix for those classes shortly like you fix things with Command XP.

Bioware devs I would like to see hot fix for those classes shortly like you fix things with Command XP.

I was just about to post this as well, especially Pulse Engine one. Because of this, I've to use Recharge Cells and sometimes Reserved Powercells while before I don't even need these two abilities as I'm a tank. If this was an intended change please give a confirmation, thank you.

Since 5.0 I have a energy manegment problem with my Shield specialists.

I'm not exactly sure because of what, but I noticed proc'd Ion Wave still uses a lot of energy, thought that wasn't the case with Pulse Cannon.

 

*Guess this is what Czaro already said with Pulse Engine is bugged...

I don't know if this is related to pt bugs or not but I've been occasionally suffering really bad graphical lag which coincided with my jump failing. It's crashed my games once now and wWondering if anyone else has had this happen. Also happened to be on corellia square both time so could just be the map. Edited by LeglessChair

I agree with the issues that storm does not work right. An example is if you hit a lag spike nothing will happen. Or it does work, you can walk towards the person you was aiming for hit them and then you see the animation. This also goes into the time in which you can do battering blitz is also bugged it's not a true 6 seconds it's more like 5. The proc can still be up and it'll just go into CD instead of the secondary animation. Besides that's ion storm doesn't hit right it seems to work like a single target attack instead of an AOE since even if you're on them nothing will happen if they move slightly.
