thenthebassdrop
So I was questing on my sith inquisitor, when I noticed that one of my quests was called "Into the pit." Now if you've played fallout 3, you might have known that there was a DLC named "The Pitt." Another thing is that the place you need to explore is called "Vault 305." Keledorn
I imagine that is merely coincidence, as I seriously doubt Bioware would intentionally throw shade to an IP that isn't even in the Bioware/EA family, and especially one that is the competition. Audoucet
After a quick search, all references about a Vault 305, seem related to SWTOR. these are very generic terms of the semantic field of underground constructions, which isn't surprising on a world about pollution and weapon factories. I don't think it's anything more than a very vague coincidence. Especially since in Fallout, It's not even pit, but pitt.
FlavivsAetivs
The fallout vault numbers don't go that high. But there are some references throughout the game. E.g. the pink engine reactant for GSF (along with a couple other 'pink' items, IIRC) is called "Light Red Engine Reactant" which is a reference to the Red vs. Blue series, the longest running internet series of all time, and a reference to Halo by extension. ~ Eudoxia Edited July 1, 2016 by FlavivsAetivs
cool-dude
Why would Bioware reference something from a competitor?
