I went to sana and the others...im turning stuff in their rank is going up..but I noticed 2 things... 1. I wasn't getting the reward items from it.. 2.after a few turn ins...it reset their influence rank to 1 again.. what gives? am I doin something wrong? Jaareth Posted April 27, 2016 Author Share Posted April 27, 2016 the only dialogue choice is *turn in more artifacts* or *end conversation...its why I'm confused...I burned like 15 of em...sanas rep went up to 8 and I was like...hell yea...then...poof back to 1 and it said she lost -1000 reputation and reset it to 1. When you exit any other way than with a dialog choice, nothing you've done will take effect. Yeah make sure you complete the conversation by clicking "I'll let you get back to it". Crossward Posted April 27, 2016 Share Posted April 27, 2016 This is a common bug I've found when talking to them. I get around it by doing the following 1) turn in all lockboxes you wish to turn in. You can spacebar the conversation. 2) talk to the advisor about anything else. Ask them what they need, how they're doing, etc. That locks in your lockbox turn ins. You can now escape and get credit. When it's grayed out, you don't have anymore boxes to turn in. At that window, choose the Cancel button, not ESC. Then end the conversation via dialog ("I'll let you get back to it." or w/e.) As others have stated that happens when you, at any time during the conversation, hit ESC. Then the entire conversation is rolled back, but you still have the crates. It is like you had never talked to the alliance specialist and never turned your supply crates in. If you see a -1000 influence that is because you have given the specialist two crates and the 500 influence per supply crate had been awarded right away. If you then hit ESC you haven't turned in the supply crates after all and the influence is substracted again. To solve this simply repeat the conversation, and give them to Sana Rae again.
