And I agree with the following; If the companion is in the instance, contributing, definitely roll for gear for that companion. But rolling for gear for a companion you aren't using is bad form. I agree, the last sentence is very true, I think there are times you can and times you can't roll for one.. I had a Jedi Sage (Healer) rolling NEED on everything in an Athiss run last nite and everytime we kept asking him, he said he didn't know why he was rolling...which is BS, he didn't use the companion excuse, he was just a str8 up ninja...luckily it was stuff I could use (As a Senintel) and I won all 3 important rolls, so I get out of the run, said something about his name in general chat and people go saying I'm crying and i'm wasting my time, an hour later someone comes out crying about the same guy and I gave him te biggest I told you so I've ever given lol...
