I think this would break the game too much. Technically I know several worlds where even capital ship production was ground-based, however I think that would be an issue. If we were to permit starfighters to be built from factories I say make it a more expensive, fighter-specific facility. I mean the only fighter-making facilities I can think of didn't make anything else... Note: J did you see that Sil shared my Void Knight doc? If you have any questions about it let me know.
