Ryemfoh Posted April 26, 2012 Share Posted April 26, 2012 There's a level 50 Heroic 4 quest in Belsavis called Lights Out that will give you a choice of a custom weapon for each companion. Although the techstaff choice for scorpio is the only reward that isn't custom, but it is still blue quality. It's actually soloable, but you have to die three times to complete it. All the hilts are either STR or WILL. SCORPIO's techstaff takes a Barrel mod, not a Hilt mod. Apparently this was the most expedient way of fixing the problem...? Just as an FYI, prior to 1.2 (or 1.4...can't remember exactly), there were no moddable techstaves or techblades in the game, and all melee weapons required Hilts (which dont use AIM as a stat). Bio fixed it. interesting history tidbit Necro'ed thread +1 yes....and no the techblade the bowdaar started with came moddable at launch. it was the only one in the game that did. i had a 50 scoundrel, 50 vanguard, 50 mercenary and 50 sage by the first week of january 2012. always stuck in my craw as i tried other classes with melee - especially melee tank - companions that only bowdaar's starting weapon was moddable.
