Anakin surpassed Obi-wan in skill around episode 2. So the real question becomes, would Anakin be an idiot in the fight? Since the answer is probably yes, it makes this a difficult match up. It is seriously the only even match up of the two anakin is so arrogant you have to use obiwan from ep 2 to make it a fare match . Anakin was only arrogant because of the darkside, he's usually never like that. Also lol no Obi-Wan wouldn't win every time, he only won because Anakin's mind was clouded and he was noted as being torn, that and Obi-Wan and Anakin were noted as being more familiar with one another's fighting style than anything else. FrostyTide Posted September 4, 2015 Share Posted September 4, 2015 lol yea this is a pretty easy decision, of course an episode 3 Anakin would beat an episode 2 obiwan, its pretty straight forward since Anakin has become more experienced and stronger in the force between the two movies, its like asking if your PC in chapter 3 could beat your PC from chapter 2.
