Animation changes

I am a huge fan of swtor I even had the empire Republic symbol tattooed on the back of my neck I love it so much . I would however like to start a suggestion thread about possible animation changes .

I love the jedi sage but I feel the earth quake area animation is real missing out. The character puts down his hands and little waves come out of them no explosion no lighting style animation all the other characters look and feel great when u hit this power but the sage looks like not much is happen for the amount of damage it gives out. My suggestion is could bio ware change earth quake to say a sand storm or tornado or something more powerful looking than hand pointing at the ground and targets somehow die. If anyone agrees with me please leave comment or add your own ideas for so animation changes hopefully the right people will see this.

There is a reason the Sith and Jedi skill animations are different. The sith are much more aggressive in their fighting styles hence the more brutal animations.

Which is why they should not have replaced Force Scream with Devastating Blast in 3.0

Yeah I know what your saying about the difference between sith and jedi and I agree what I mean is even on the Republic side those powers which damage people in that area all look cool the comando has air raid which looks cool you know what I'm saying is don't copy the sith area damage power just change sage to something else to do with the earth theme that it has something more amazing looking

I want master strike to have ravage animation.

Personally I think Master Strike is the only thing for the Jedi that is better than the Sith counter parts.

As for the Sage, everything seems very underwhelming in terms of animation. Obviously this is because Jedi are kind of boring in terms of their demeanour and can only do softcore attacks. Force Quake is probably the lamest attack, in my humble opinion please don't get offended because I don't like it. If you like it more power to you.

Just because you are a good guy doesn't mean you can't be aggressive. Jedi can be just vicious in their animation as the Sith as the end result is all the same.

That is actually true. based on the lore the Jedi believed that the double bladed lightsaber style was to aggressive for Jedi.

Ok maybe your understanding me right so ill try this another way.

As a gamer we are mean to pretend that some thing on that screen are not there for example maps power bars name over peoples heads and target cursors things like that we imagine they are not there and we focus on what's happening to the target now when you as a player press the key that activates a power we image we can see the target cursor and we see only what happens to the target for example the sith inquisitor we for get the green target cursor is there and we see lightning hitting the target with the comando we forget the target is there and we see the air strike happen to the target if your a bounty hunter we forget the target cursor and we see him launching rockets at the target now if you were watching someone else us this power and you couldn't see the character thar casted the power you would see say lightning and u know it's a sith or you would only see an air strike and you would know it was a comando even if you are new to the game and didn't know the powers other classes had you could tell by what happens in the green target cursor and you go oh the must be a comando power that was cool or that must have been a sith power cool but when it comes to a sage what do you see ? Anyone ? Nothing ! You see nothing happen to the target apart from the green target cursor and people dying what happen to them we know it's a quake but we don't see anything to indecate this don't debris with nearby object or walls no rocks from nearby hills no effect on the ground we are just to use r imagination and this is wrong we are mean to pretend there is no cursor and see a quake what we get is we see on effect and so we focus only on the cursor as if it is the 0ower bio ware I feel have this concept backwards and anyone seeing this for the first time like my wife who is new to the game responds with I'd that it what just happened we need to see something anything happening to the targets to help us forget the cursor is there understand now?

I wouldn't mind swapping out Force Scream for the Blade Storm animation. The Force Scream seems pretty darkside, but channeling Force energy in a swirl from your blade seems pretty alignment-neutral. Even if it's red in color, I'd rather have that animation than Raging Burst's.
