revcrisis Posted March 3, 2015 Share Posted March 3, 2015 (edited) There's 2 parts to this bug report. The Shadow's Phase Walk lasts 5 Minutes while the Assassins' lasts 10 Minutes. Why is there a discrepancy here? Why does the Assassin have a 100% longer duration on their phase walk's marked location?The Assassins' version of the Phase Walk is not instant. There is a brief lag in teleportation. Any Sin who has played the class extensively is aware of this teleportation lag. It lasts roughly half a second between returning to the original point. It seems like the engine might be waiting for the animation to finish before the teleportation occurs.Interestingly, the Shadow's version of Phase Walk is instant. No lag whatsoever, just an immediate teleportation back to the original point. It's smooth with no hitching. Please look into this as this was not an issue in 2.10. idnewton Posted March 3, 2015 Share Posted March 3, 2015 From what I've heard, the inconsistencies between Republic and Imperial factions seems to be pretty serious since 3.0, especially in regards to Inquisitors and Consulars. The Assassin Phase Walk was an instant teleportation without delay. The lag is the reason the Sin's phase walk lasts longer. It is compensating for Force User Traffic Jams. Sins blood letting is 15 seconds as the talent says, but the shadow version is still 10 seconds not 15, which causes shadows to have more dps and parse better also.
